Hi, I'm a newbie in motorcycle mechanics and have a doubt. Clockwise in air screw (turn it "in") mean more air or less air / lean or rich?

hey brother sorry to come into a random video and ask a question on a nonrelated topic but you seem to be one of the few people knowledgeable about Kawasaki prairie 400s it runs and ideals perfect with the choke on and it will run fine with the choke off but when it ideals it slowly drops rpm and then dies doesn't matter how much I mess around with the ideal adjustment cable. if you have any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them thanks.
