I've never ridden one, but can honestly say that a supercharged V-Max is by far the most insane bike I've ever seen or heard. The one that used to roll around my buddies neighborhood 20 years ago, sounded more like a car. The first time I heard it coming down the street, I assumed it was a T bucket street machine with open headers. Nope, just a blown V-max. Crazy.

My bucket list bike is both unique and unimpressive. I have a favorite band, it’s LINKIN PARK. In the past, they did a collaboration with Honda’s CBR250r. The bike itself isn’t anything to write home about, but the hopes of owning the one with LINKIN PARKS livery is a dream bucket list for me.

My cousin had a Honda 125 Elsinore racing bike two stroke that was fast as hell. This was back in 1976. Cracking the throttle on that bike was like riding a firecracker that just got fired off into the sky. What a machine. Super light and fast as a dragster. Two strokes are an entirely different breed of fast. And that engine scream under fiull throttle is so awesome. I will always miss it. The closest you will ever hear it today is when a big bore two stroke chainsaw goes full gonzo cutting a huge log. If you are ever blessed to get a two stroke anything, run synthetic two stroke oil in the gas. That was a game changer. No more fouled plugs and the engines lasted way longer. Then they just stopped selling them. Darn it. Rest in Peace, Two Stroke Hellions.

Scooters are the most popular type of motorcycle here in the Philippines. Perfect for roads here that are usually riddled with heavy traffic congestion. They are much more easier to maintain than a regular motorcycle. They are also just much more utilitarian in their use with alot of room for cargo and an option for a top box at the back to carry more. Also, the scooter at 4:13 (known as the Honda Click 125i here) happens to be one of the most popular scooter here in the Philippines, that its almost everywhere. It's got a 125cc 4-stroke, SOHC CVT engine that has a max power of 11 horsepower at 8,500 RPM, with liquid cooling. All for just $1,300+.

A 2000 Vulcan or something similar is almost a must. If you're going faster than 10mph and turn, you WILL scrape the footpeg/floorboard, and that can be really fun. More importantly, it gets you used to feeling the limit of the bike, and pushing it a little. Basically, find something that naturally leaves a really wide chicken strip, and see how small you can get it.

As someone who has been on wheels for 20years, I started with 5 with pit bikes. I just can say that this video is 100% accurate!!! I ride a Honda x Adv it is a mix of scooter and enduro and it is awesome u got a sporty vibe but it is great for a daily bike. I spent almost 6 years riding the ktm 690 smcr 2 generations of that model, that bike is just awesome. Absolute wheelie machine but not for daily use, also u are very competitive with that bike in the corners. And last but not least the rsv4 never tried it but it is my dream to have it, i had the r1m and id put it up there with the rsv for the sound. From my experience I d always recommend people to really think before buying leader bikes, they are not for daily use and they bring u lot closer to the afterlife 😂 also if u live in Europe as myself it is always better to have some better bikes for daily use because a leader bike is in my opinion just for the track.

Glad to see most of these are (or were) in my fleet. 2-stroke street..... Suzuki GT380 powered GS500E Grom...... Rode one once. I get it, but it's not for me. My Honda XL100S is close enough and fits me better. Scooter...... Honda Express 50. My first bike back when I was 5, just found a nice one this year. Superbike......Kawasaki ZX12R. Close enough, it was fast and pretty capable. My daily FZR1000 handles better, with a bit less power. Small displacement 4-cylinder......Suzuki GSF400 Bandit. My fav toy, with GSXR suspension/brakes, it's still slow but carves like no other. Supermoto.......Aint got one yet, but I'm thinking about converting my KLX650R. It's got all the right specs and I don't dirt ride it much. Forced induction.......Does V-Boost count? Sold my 20th Ani. V-max years ago, but it moved out like a boosted bike.

In europe there is a common practice where people take a Cagiva Mito (a 125 2 stroke that can go up to like 100 mph) and swap in the RD350 engine, and basically gets a bike that can easily compete with 600s. Also the Cagiva frame can get a lot of Ducati parts (mine has forks and brakes from a 916 and a tuned RD350, with a total weight of like 130 kg)

today i learnt that the US call a step through scooter, a "pass through" but going to make some changes here, cause there is some thing missing, and somethings included, that dont need to be small displacement bikes, golden, great calls on the grom, scooter, 4 pot's and 2 strokes, (doesnt have to be a yammie, any of those 250-350 2 stoke sports bikes, mint!!) missing is the old school aircooled cruiser, no, not a harley, those are crap (they have a place.....i guess) but like, if I had the money, sitting between my fjr1300, bmw f800, and aprilla 457, i would have a moto guzzi V7 (or around that ilk) something about the slowed down pace things seem to happen, there is a type of joy not gained on other types of bikes, its a different beast and on that you should also always ride a belt, or shaft drive once in your life, my lord, the love I have for shaft or belt over a chain, I give them all the love that your common squid gives their chain (ie, none) yet when it comes time for a major service, the guys working on the bike arent calling me lazy, or having no clue at the lack of maintenance i sure they do when it comes to your average squid rider

Let's see: Small Displacement 4-Cylinder: ZX-4 RR ✅ World Class Superbike: RSV4 Factory ✅ Scooter: Started on one, so ✅ Forced induction bike: H2 SX ✅ Grom/Monkey/Dax should not be to hard to get for a test ride. What I really would like to ride is a 250cc 2 stroke Aprilia.

I guess I'm just too old and too tame for most of those suggestions. Twenty some years ago I took a short spin on my cousin's Blackbird. Without even trying I had it up to 200 km/h (he lives in Canada) within seconds. Turned around, did it again on the way back, dismounted, handed him his keys and said "thanks, that was awesome. I'm never buying one of those, I'd kill myself for sure".

My father has a 1985 Turbo VMax. If the VBoost kicks in it's like sitting on a motorcycle that turns into a missile. After I tried it once I asked him if he has a suicide wish, because of that much power on such a shitty suspension.
