Instead of running from the Bullpen just to stand around and look....why don't both Bullpens just start fighting out in Center Field...kinda like when two Goalies go after each other?

lol Because it 'looks' better if they join the rest of the team, and just push each other there. Lets face it.... very few 'bench clearing brawls' actually involve fighting.

I think they should get together and plan out a little spot fest like in wrestling. .. just a gimmick for laughs. Pitcher throws ball over batters head ah-la Randy Johnson /John Kruk all star game, batter charges mound and clotheslines pitcher, catcher follows up gets an RKO , benches come in and it's leg drops and flying elbows and spears all over the field 😂😂

@@sesau13I’m a die hard Yankees fan, but I can’t blame him for being ticked. It was raining so no way the throw was intentional, but his guy still took a 97mph fastball to the dome. It really could have been an “F you, if you can’t throw up and in without hitting my guys then don’t throw up and in”. Holmes really hasn’t had great control when it’s been dry, let alone in a rain storm, so I can’t really disagree with Hyde here.

Yea but your the manager you should be able to not do that to be the better man but I agree that’s what every O is thinking but you can’t be the guy that says it especially there cause it seems like it starts the fight. That’s why he gets thrown out cause he also start yelling at the Yankee bench
@emupike6
@emupike6 3 ай бұрын
@@fractal_nature anyone thinking that is an absolute clown just like Hyde. he has always had a habit of running his mouth. Holmes was concerned as most pitchers are when this unintentionally happens and it lead to a small brawl where his players could get injured and more HBP could now come as a result. If either Bob Gibson or Don Drysdale was pitching for the O's tonight the first pitch Juan Soto and Aaron Judge would see would be a mid-90's heater jammed right in the ear--GUARANTEED!! Those old timers played ROUGH!! Drysdale stated it very clearly: "My philosophy is simple--you hit one of ours--I hit two of yours." That's how it was done back in the day!! While it certainly might have been an accident--(and probably was--Holmes most likely lost his grip in the rain)--there's been some past history between these clubs this season with guys getting drilled. I’ve got a sneaky feeling about this: Remember during 60 game season in 2020 the Yankees knew the Rays were gonna be a problem. Then during a random game against them mid-season when the Yankees were in a similar freefall the Yankees hit Brosseau (a random dude) in the 9th inning to spark even more tension between the two teams. Then it came back to bite the Yankees in the postseason that year. I’m not saying it will happen again, but you know it when you’ve seen a certain movie before that you didn’t like you don’t wanna see it again……

To people who think that Holmes was trying to hit or throw inside there, understand that it’s raining, his grip on the ball is probably very wet and slippery. He probably lost control of the ball and it went t up and in on the batter.
