Rodons ERA is a little high but he's still given us alot of quality innings. I think he would be even better if he could figure out the sweating issue.

Obviously they got him ultimately for what he does in the postseason, but like Kratz said Rodon’s been eating innings and punching tickets. Been really solid outside those three blowup starts in the middle of the year there.

And the O's should have won yesterday, that was crazy. They had runners on after tying the game 4-4. Somehow the Tigers took out Foley and the guy who came in, got 3 outs without allowing the two runners on to score. So into extras they went and the Tigers went off. Phew !!!! :-) Ending of that game was intense.

The Yanks could win their 50th road game tomorrow. If they won it all, they'd be the only team with a better road vs home record with 50 road wins... according to my back and forth with ai which may or may not be accurate. Last team with a better road than home to win it was 2014 giants

Fielding percentage isn't a great metric for OF. Soto leads MLG RFs in F% and we know he isn't that good.

Judge is statistically one of the worst defenders in CF in all of baseball, he’s third worst in DRS and second worst in OAA which are the two defensive stats they look at

Ok this is no disrespect to Ohtani, he will retire as the best player in baseball history... but if you want to be really pedantic about it Judge's 2022 and 2024 will both end as higher value seasons by fWAR than any season Ohtani has ever had. Here's a list of players who have had a better season than Ohtani's best (9.2 fWAR in 2022) since he came to the US in 2018: Judge (2022, 2024), Witt Jr. (2024), Mookie Betts (2018). Worth noting here as well that Acuna Jr (2023) and deGrom (2018) were 0.1 and 0.2 WAR short of Ohtani's 2018. Since he's come to the US he also trails Judge and Betts in total fWAR. So if you want to be real pain in the ass about WAR Ohtani is not as good as Judge or Betts, mostly because he has a major pitching injury every-other season.
