Watching this reminds me when you blessed my crown last month. While I didn't have a build up issue; for sure my locs were light and fluffy after the Kings wash! Yes I've been a lint picker too, such a mistake.

I absolutely love your videos! I wish you can see my hair you will love it! I do have a question though. I've been taking care of my own hair and it's to my waist no build-up none of that however I've always wondered about using detox just to detox my hair being that I've been growing it for 15 years. May l ask what do you put in your detox?
@anitahoward12815 жыл бұрын
Hi, love your videos. One question, If one is using a shampoo and conditioner wouldn't a thorough rinse remove these products? I am talking about products that do not have any silicone's or parabens etc in them? I always use the rule of doing a quick scalp wash, sometimes a conditioner / moisterising but the focus is on my rinsing. I rinse with the hottest water I can stand and then after rinsing with do a cool down rinse. My point is, its that I rinse for a long time when i do a wash. Whats your opinion on this? I always tell my clients that their focus on a wash should be the rinsing.

Oh thank you Yannie. I have this very problem of build up with my locks and wasn’t quite sure what was going on. A couple years ago I saw one of your videos and stopped using all that stuff and putting products and oils on my locks and switched to the rose water and vitamin e. It has helped a lot but I have the had built up locks at the ends from years of not knowing any better. I like this lady also picked the build up and have different lengths because of it. I live in Canada and don’t have access to your shop. How can I detox my locks? Do you have suggestions for those like myself who are just too far?

My 15 yr old is now 4 yrs locked I noticed build up some time back. We only use oil or rose water so I know its not products. I was digging thru her locs and notice its actually her scalp flacking and getting caught up in her locs. I decided to try washing her scalp with Dr. Bronners peppermint soap twice a month. To help clean the scalp, then a hot oil treatment with organic extra virgin olive oil and organic coconut oil. We've just started this regimen. If you have any tip on how to treat the flakiness it would be greatly appreciated. 😊

The medicine castor oil that you take??
@vale-md3ed5 жыл бұрын
First try Black Jamaican Castor Oil - Its a dark color castor oil while regular castor oil is the light color castor oil that you use as medicine - You can use either but the black has a little more nutrients; however some people can not use the black castor oil; it may be to strong. Do not use the dark castor oil as an internal medicine.
