I totally get how you feel. I played World as my first monster hunter a couple of months ago, and it was the only thing on my mind until I beat AT Velk solo. Then I bought Rise, and I'm having a really hard time getting into that same swing I felt with World. I would love to progress through the base game and eventually Sunbreak, but I'm just completely out of it after one hunt. I took a step back and redownloaded a bunch of gacha games I used to play, and I've actually had fun playing through those again. I really like playing through Arknights: Endfield right now, even though it's a cookie cutter open-world style game, and I might get tired or frustrated with it one day. Life is just a cycle man, no need to force yourself on one side. Anyway, I'm glad to have found your channel recently, and I hope you find success in your second channel and streams!

It doesn't help that the early (and some of the mid game) in Rise is kinda boring in terms of difficulty and monster roster. However I like the late game in Sunbreak a LOT more than World.

I love the Gunlance in Wilds but somehow can‘t stand it in the other Games. What has changend the feel so much?

Well with second wilds obt coming out that should be fun it will have some additional monsters aswell. But happy to hear more streams always enjoyed them should be fun to watch.

Question, is Berserk and Mail of hellfire good for a Longsword build? Or is it better on something like Dual Blades?

moh is generally a good skill to have for all weapons (i believe) and berserk imo can be good for ls if you're playing special sheathe and stack it with strife, element exploit, elembane, etc.

I def get the burnout with monster hunter. I mean, we have been playing the same games for how long now? Wilds cant come soon enough

Also yeah you dont miss much by skipping the Fatalis trio in GU, they are a cool spectacle but man they are annoying fights
