I saw someone use one of these an looked up how to do it and realized I have the exact same ring, the peacock one. I got it in a jewelry subscription box a few years back, not marketed for crochet! Thank you very much for this video really helpful. I have purchased some cheap tension rings from Amazon before searching this video as I saw people on TikTok using tension rings and didn’t want to spend too much money on something if I didn’t get along with it but this video helped me get along just fine and all it took was searching how to hold yarn and hook with tension ring into KZbin. Now I can get along with rings just fine I’ll take a look at your website but from the video I see that’s in dollars and I’m from the uk so would you do international shipping. Also when I’ve finished my current wip(a gift for my besties baby daughter) I’ll be looking at your video for more pattens to follow.

I have been struggling with yarn tension rings, and crocheting, where I use stitch markers all the time, marking the beginning of rounds, and row count confirmations throughout the project. I make animals, frogs, turtles, horses, unicorns, giraffes, etc. I started using tension rings to alleviate yarn marks on my left forefinger. Please consider showing how to use the tension ring while marking projects. Repositioning the yarn in the ring after marking stitches.

So I have been brought the “peacock” one but I’m like 99% sure it’s a snake 😂 it’s shape and everything screamed snake to me… unless it’s the styling of the ring that’s called peacock, I’m not sure, either way you are an absolute hero for making this video! Love this video. So very informative. I get hand cramps when I’m crocheting. Do you think if I used 2 rings, one on the pointer and one on like my ring finger that would help reduce the hand cramps?

when I tried to use the ring with no video, I automatically put it on my ring finger. This whole "pointer finger" is harder for me to manipulate. I think I must just not crochet the standard way. Did you get it to work for you?

I'm wondering if you can help me out. I ordered a crochet ring - the design is called Silver Fish (left hand) - which I assume is actually placed on your right index finger. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to use it. Seems to be nothing to hook the yarn on like the other designs. Would you have any idea on how to help me? I have sent a note to the company. I have seen a fish design before, but I don't carry that one. If you are unable to hook the yarn to the fish anywhere, I would use the ring band. I demonstrate how to do that in this video.

I was so excited to try all the rings in the assortment pack my SIL bought for me and I loved most of them but the flower (that I was most excited to use) snapped when I was trying to adjust it to my finger! 😢 It was the only one in the pack that did it, all the others were perfect. I was just so sad about the flower!
