Today was a good day. I got two packages delivered, the Olympus OM-2N and this Yashica Electro 35 GTN film Rangefinder. Let's see what we've got in the box :)
I used the same opening sequence for both unboxing videos.
All my videos are recorded with a Panasonic G80.

Cool camera! I have had mine for a few years now, I bought it then sent it off to have it checked out and I love the photos I get.

Have a GTN and a GT, they take great phptos the color and sharpness are excellent, thanks to the Yashinon 1.7 lens. I have never had a Yashica that the optics weren't good in. Their body;s and reliability are not the best but overall but if they are in good working order you will be pleased. Couple of things if I may suggest, make sure the foam light seals on the door are in descent shape, also you should here a distinctive clunk when you start moving the winding knob if you don't then the pad of death will need to be replaced. You can do this yourself if your good at the sort of thing, There are pictures of replacement on the net if you search, you might start by googling Yashica Guy.

I used to have one of those and the lens was excellent! My only rangefinder camera now, is my Olympus XA,.

I had a GSN arrive DOA, unfortunately. It makes for a cool shelf piece. But a bummer none the less. Let me know when you've taken some photos with it. Thanks!

Yea will do. I'm hoping to get out either today or tomorrow to put a roll of film through it. Sorry to hear about the doa, frustrating when it happens for sure.
