Out of the about 150,000 tons of Shea butter exported from Africa yearly, 50,000 tons of that comes from the three northern regions of Ghana. It’s very sad so many of the women making Shea butter live in poverty. Thank you for bringing awareness of this 😊

Hi Yaya! What I do with my melted butters is leave it in the fridge overnight, then in the morning, I set it out on the kitchen counter to bring to room temp for about 2-3 hours...it's a longer process, but the texture is so much better than leaving it in the fridge for only 30 mins or so. That might work better when you add the wax!!! ❤️

And I love your videos, they've inspired me to look into DIY haircare products but now it's easier for me to just buy it from creators like you or on Etsy until I've saved up enough money to get the things I want. How important is measuring the amount of fragrance oils and vitamin e oil and essential oils when adding it to the butter mixture? As a beginner i don’t really know how to determine the amount needed and I was wondering if it’s dangerous to just eyeball it, thanks in advance!
@nashiicee49363 жыл бұрын
You have to speak with the seller and the information is normally contained on the bottle. With fragrance oil it’s normally up to 2%. Essential oils are around 1% some are lower. It’s best to speak with the seller they will give you more information

I hope you see this, I want to hopefully start my own small business selling body butter *but* I have to practice first. I just got my mango, Shea and cocoa butter in the mail and they're a bit melted. Do you have any advice for when this happens? I live in Texas so it gets hot out here, but we have ac I just don't know how to store it. If I put it in the fridge, will that ruin it's beneficial properties?? Or should I leave it in a cabinet? I need help please 🙏
@luuthithanhanh26124 жыл бұрын
The hot weather is not an issue. You have to melt the butters before whipping so actually the softer the butters the faster they will be melted. I live in a tropical country so the butters here are very soft but It doesnt ruin my body butter at all :)
