I notice that at 6:36 when the foreground pole passes the frame, the app focused on it for a split second then back to the water tower.

When you did the 360 at 2:49, didnt it loose the horizon line? This is my issue with gimnals, i can keep the shot more straight by hand

Great review. What is your audio workflow when filming with Flow 2 Pro? Do you record sound separately? It seems there is no place to attach Rode Wireless or DJI microphones to Flow

I really wish the app would work with cinematic mode with that framing and auto zoom feature but it still cinematic mode the one that native on the camera app for iPhone I like being able to blur my background as wish with zooming on the watch app so it cool

Honestly, I have the “Flow” and it’s VERY simple to use - THIS is a bump up on that and I’m going to upgrade and sell the Flow on eBay. It’s significant.

My biggest gripe after purchasing the insta360 flow was the payload limitations so can you rig this up with a lights and portable ssd without any issues?

It all depends on the total weight. Insta recommends (and I will confirm as it’s the same with the Flow) limiting the total rig to 300g. So, you may bump up against that if you have a “max” phone with a remote lav mic. Otherwise, you should be okay. If you need to drop some weight, use it without the phone case (about 40g of savings).

I’ve seen other videos where they use the BlackMagic camera app with no problem. iOS 18 has an API called Dock Kit. The flow takes advantage of that so almost all camera apps work with the flow. Look up Michael Tobin flow review for more.

The big problem with the mag safe connector is you need to remove it to charge wirelessly.
