Bill Medley once told that Elvis came backstage to one of his concerts without telling him, came on stage walked past him and went "Hi Bill" and walked away, the crowd went crazy!!! the second show was filled wall to wall and sure enuf Elvis came on stage again and did the same thing!!! R.I.P The Greatest entertainer/person the world has ever known.

Hard to not get emotional hearing this. 40 years on, no-one has come close to achieving what Elvis did. He was way ahead of his time. Just last month was the 40th anniversary of his passing and he is still loved today. RIP, Elvis. You will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on forever. Thank you

I agree 1000% with Yvonne here!!!! This song from the first time I ever heard it on the video about Elvis (which I went to a hotel in order to see this on TV with Priscilla because I didn't have the cable channel it was going to be on), affects me greatly. The wording is so perfect and the tears well up in my eyes thinking about how much I miss Elvis and what he meant to me growing up. I miss this world when Elvis was part of it. Wish he knew how much he meant to all of us - and still does!

Bill medley was a great friend of Elvis and they both were fans of each other's singing. in the middle of '77 Bill and his girlfriend (I think it was Connie Stevens) tried to get Elvis out of his hotel room to go out one night and have some fun and get away from the unhealthy environment just being couped up with the guys (by then just Joe and younger family members, he'd sacked all the others) but Elvis just couldn't bring himself to go. A real pity. That's the last time they saw him alive.
