Literally TWO DAYS AGO I was kinda sad I missed the chance to spread Taylor love on my Facebook back when Folklore came out because I realized I'd never talked about her on my Facebook! My family and friends don't even know I listen to her, let alone that I LOVE her! Hell, they might not even KNOW Taylor (she's not big in my country, and they don't know "new" American music)! I'm always active on Twitter, never on Facebook. And I thought it would be weird and awkward to like and comment on Taylor's old Folklore posts, maybe? I thought it might be months until she releases anything new (I was counting on the re-recording of her debut album). I thought I'd missed my chance! But it's like the goddesses heard me! I keep commenting on, and liking, all her Evermore posts, and now I guess my family and friends know about it, know about her! It's the oddest coincidence, like.... :O

I'm sorry but if you took HAIM out of 'No Body, No Crime', it wouldn't hit the same way. The ambience that their backing vocals and ad-libs give the track is what makes the song so fantastic. Given that Taylor chose to include Este as the center of the story, HAIM's involvement adds a level of depth that would be missing without them. Those heavy, moody backing vocals contrast so nicely with Taylor's lighter, breathier sound. Also, let's be honest here. Danielle's "She was with me, dude" in the bridge was a god-tier production choice. 👌

Someone told me once that healing isnt linear. Sometimes you arent going to feel that great, some days are gonna feel amazing, but remember that youre still moving forward and thats what matters x

Taylor somehow just knows how to just get inside are feelings and make us cry with some of her songs and i love her tbh, cardigan and willow were my favourite from each album, folklore and evermore.

Hey Caitlin, I loved the part when the song "Dorothea" started, and then you suddenly shift from being sad and crying to smiling and happy. That transition was so beautiful. Thank you for making these videos. Be happy, be safe, be you.

I see so much connections between "tis the damn season" and "dorothea" it almost seems like they are sang by a couple, one from the perspective of dorothea and the other one of the person who is waiting for her to come back to her home town.

Taylor confirmed that these songs are connected just like you thought they were!

I'm literally crying with you, Cait. And i decided not to listen to the album until i heard your reaction cause i don't know, you made me appreciate it more. Just like the Folklore album, i already listened to it before watching your reaction and i love it so much but after watching your reaction, i had a different perspective of the songs and i love them even more, so thanks to you. Keep making reaction videos, there are people like me who are interested in your reactions. Love you Cait.

now I'm subscribed because 1 the speaker to the ear thing and 2 evermore is your fave which is also my fave. When you said you were down since July I was screaming because I just knew you were going to be wrecked by evermore and I wasn't wrong. For me, marjorie and evermore is connected in a personal note, with me asking what i was really fighting for and realizing it in marjorie, and I can't thank taylor for this beauty.

Love this masterpiece and the fact she went further with this album. She's always evolving and exploring new thing, what an artist, whant a QUEEN. The more you listen to it, the more you love it. My favorite for now are Gold Rush (the beat), Marjorie (the lyrics and the melody) and Evermore (the pianooo and Bon Iver pleaseee)

The unscensored version of Champagne Problems hits a lot harder, instead of "she's stuck in her head" it's "she's fucked in the head" and it hits way harder especially because of the surrounding lyrics and I can't recall any other song she says fuck in

Just got here after your wonderful All Too Well reaction(s), and, well, thank you for this video and the one of Folklore. The 'No! I'm doing really well, remember!' (6:01) had me laughing out loud :D P.S. I'm glad you are doing better now and I found your concern in your All Too Well reaction for people that might not be very kind and lovely

To me, Dorothea made me think more about friends we lose rather than a past relationship. Like those friends you grow apart from and then watch their lives on social media and wonder if they ever think about you. Also, I interpreted Ivy as the perspective of a woman who either has an affair or wants to have affair because she is not in love with her husband. The Lines: "And the old widow goes to the stone every day/ But I don't, I just sit here and wait/ Grieving for the living" made me think of how unlike a widow who misses her late husband, she is grieving the life she has with her husband because she's unhappy. Also she says: "What would he do if he found us out?... He's gonna burn this house to the ground" definitely makes me think it's an affair. Anyways, loved the reaction! You put it perfectly with the Taylor climbing into your soul metaphor. Couldn't agree more.
