So true. The evolution of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs sound is like a skeleton trying on different skins. Whereas other artists that try new sounds it's like they're putting on a whole different body each time and it doesn't feel as genuine because the core identity isn't there. Not sure if that makes sense, but no matter what no direction YYY goes in, you can always see and feel their core identity in it and that's why their experimentation and evolution always works.

I can imagine this music playing when the captain onboard an ocean liner orders his first mate hard to starboard or hard to port to avoid the giant mermaid Chelsea and towards Ruby Gillman in her giant kraken form. Onboard an airliner the captain and his first officer along with the passengers and flight attendants look out their windows they see a dome where Ruby Gillman and Chelsea are inside that dome when it explodes causing shockwaves and the captain to take control of the airplane and get it to the ground as quickly as possible.
