Mr. Bronfman was great at 16, and he’s still great 45+ years later. This is a stunner of a video. Thanks for posting!

So nice to finally see such a high quality, beautifully filmed video of Bronfman. He hasn’t recorded enough Chopin. 😎🎹

It is not hyperbole to say that he is easily the greatest classical piano player alive right now. (The mic's are too far away, but I can still hear the full richness of the auditorium and perfect alignment of the piano's parts.) Thank you, Sir!!

I respect this artist. He's not interested in showing off his mechanics, which is the best any pianist can possibly have. No, mechanics for him is child's play. What he's interested in is the music.

Great performance but too much pedal.

Bronfman plays more realistically than Kisin. Kisin is just a "figurist". Bronfman works soulfully.

I'd love to know what you mean by "figurist".

I have two words for this: SO WHAT. On second thought, I have a few more: the way these pianists 'bring out' secondary voices is truly revolting.
@richardvolpe76644 ай бұрын
Not as revolting as your ignorance.
