Just turned 40 today and I was crying. But then I had to remind myself that each day we get is a blessing. Not many people make it to 40

I am 37 and I am excited to hit that 40 mark. I have set a Mission 40, I have started workout daily since Dec 2021 and stopped drinking alcohol. My plan is to be in the best shape of my life in 40’s. Hope I will achieve that. 🤞🏻

Brodie my friend...I chalked up 40 back in 1981 and I started coaching which was my way of giving back to the youth of those days and here I am I'm 72 and still at holding the coaching reins

Happy early birthday Brodie. I’m turning 50 this year. Would much rather be turning 40. Enjoy it. I still feel 21 in spirit, & luckily don’t look it, so, I guess I’ve got nothing to complain about.

Happy birthday! You don’t look a day past 21 my man. Getting old is a mentality, you still have the young excitement that you share with us all the time. Hope you have an awesome birthday weekend

Hey man, just ran into your video and after watching, I had to leave a comment. This is probably the best video I have seen re: reaching 40 and I would like to thank you for your wonderful recommendations. I have been feeling a lot of pressure as I am almost turning 40 and this video really helped me realize that age is just a number. Thank you for this. Happy 2023.

Your videos keep getting better and better. Your have become so open and clear about how you are feeling, not just what you are doing. Love the "talking points" you posted. Good to reflect on all of those things, and I have had 30 more years than you for that reflection. Thank you for putting out this great content.

Happy Birthday Brodie. Not far behind you. I appreciate the astute perception. I grew up in the East Bay (Former Stomper alternate). Moved to AZ in that settle stage... Thank you for sharing. I will definitely watch this more than once.

Age is just a number, people age differently. I'm turning 40 in 2 years and I still feel like I should be in my 20s

Age is a process, not just a number. Each number indicates a certain grade of knowledge about life.

@@samiuddinomer8154 I never said I did. Just feels like time's getting away from me and that the last 20 years went by way too quick.

You look good for 40. You're not overweight, you're not sagging, you don't look aged. You look good. Getting older can be scary. I hate the saying that age is just a number......nope it's not just a number. If age were just a number, then why do various important documents (insurance, etc) have you select your age range? Age brings with it changes in health, for example. And you feel those changes. You even feel a difference in how people respond to you....whether in terms of attraction, etc. You have to develop your spirituality ...your spiritual connection to God to remain anchored and to stay afloat in times when things that are out of your control (such as aging) bring you down and you have to hold on to the faith that this life is not the only life, that there is a reality that transcends your physical body.

40 is nothing :) I'm in my mid 50s. Life sucks. Will not elaborate. You are lucky. Count your blessings. Being happily married (or even only contented), having two children, and having owned two homes already (presumably in Silicon Valley/ the Bay Area), all in your 30s = Pretty Darn Good Life. All things considered, I wish I was in the 3 to 5 age group. The younger the better as far as I'm concerned.

You cant live forever and you cant be 25 forever either. Be glad to be alive and enjoy the present.
