She certainly caught Jimmy Page's attention back in 2016 after watching them perform in concert in Tokyo. The photo of the two of them together is my screen saver. Drumzilla is in a class all by herself. As is the entire band. Band-Maid is far more about the show than showing off.

She is just amazing !!!! I know I'm dating myself, but she reminds me a lot of Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich, with a little Jelly Roll Morton added in. I know that people say that there are more technically sound drummers, like Senri Yamaguchi, but that means nothing if you cannot meld perfectly with the group like she does and like Hideki Aoyama with the Kami Band. That's what sets drummers apart. And you know she's good if Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin comes backstage to tell her she's the reincarnation of John Bonham. But the next big young drummer is also Japanese and her name is Yoyoka Soma. She is 11 now but has been playing drums since she was two and had her own KZbin channel since she was six and has done countless drum covers that are just amazing. If you like drums you have to react to some of her drum covers.
