Just wanted to say this is awesome content - I get tired of seeing these other KZbinrs doing the best of the best builds out there; hard to relate and it makes it intimidating to think you can really get into building a car if you haven't ever done it before. But when you see home builds like this, from a single guy that put in the work and it starting to show... Love it.

I was stuck with my project for years. Last December I was finally able to drive the car and dyno it. His face is the same face and feelings I, got when I was flooring my car back to the garage from the dyno. Just bring me some tears to my eyes, just for the joy of seeing some random guy across the world enjoying his car. I just love this channel guys, this is so, different to whatever I have watched this whole bunch of years in KZbin. Best regards from Chile my friends, I feel part of your family already!.

Here in NZ they were celica's called silly cars they came out here with either a 2 or a 2.8 litre engine and a bulletproof cast iron gearbox ,well the manual's did anyway . a mix of 25% avgas and 75% 98 octane helped to get them moving out

I find it interesting how Toyota designed the interior of the Supra of that time, being very similar in style to what we have had in our family when I was still a little kid. My dad used to have a '88 Conquest 1.6 RS. The steering wheel immediately caught my eye, and brought back a lot good old memories.

that brings back memories. i had one of those Supras new in 88. mine had the 7MGTEU with 5speed. was a lot of fun. much, much faster than anything the cops had at the time ( Australia ). did not like any more boost than factory spec. when we turned it up, under full load it would stretch the head bolts and lift the head just enough to push coolant out past the head gasket!
