Meh...haven't been impressed with any recent releases. There is an underlying energy missing. Almost too clean/crisp/sterile. I'll give it a try, but I've REALLY been impressed with Anderson and the Band Geeks - that is where the energy is!

Excited for this one! When I was a kid just getting into Yes for the 1st time, I would lay out under the stars and listen through my Walkman while looking up at the "International Dark Sky Park". I always wondered how many others were doing the same.

Steve Howe's well-oiled, tribute band delivering another derivative, tedious album of nothing. You have Jon Davidson aping(badly) Jon Anderson's quasi-mystical lyrics and melodies, Billy Sherwood doing a rather convincing Chris Squire impersonation, Geoff Downes using sampled sounds and patches straight out of the Asia music book, a DEAD Alan White replaced so rapidly it's hard to believe he was in the band for fifty years...all put together with sterile, compressed production courtesy of Der Fuhrer Howe. Pathetic.

That was all well said. Apparently, Howe is so, so happy, now he is in total charge. I truly hate what this 210th version of Yes has become; the blandness, with whatever songs or melodies there are, all are just instantly forgettable. This charade ought to have ended, but Howe cannot bring himself to do so and know when to stop. "Der Fuhrer Howe. Pathetic". 🤦‍♂.
