I totally agree with what you said about "the reason the younger conservative generation is more against porn is BECAUSE they've been more exposed to it." I am 18, was exposed to porn at 11 and got addicted fast. Took me until a year and a half ago to finally ask for help, I'm in recovery and doing better, but I still have a ways to go. However, being in the hell that is porn addiction IS what has made me so (R*#$ing terrified at how normalized it is and how many children are being exposed to it with no legal consequence.

Porn addiction needs to be socially enforced. I don't think we will ever be able to truly ban it in the modern internet era where we can't even crackdown on piracy. The only way to ban porn outright for minors is to implement a Chinese style intranet with digital IDs... Yeah, not a risk I'm willing to take. Social enforcement and education on the harms of porn addiction should be enough for most of society. Call people wankers and treat porn addiction like the crippling disease it is.

I recently rediscovered my relationship with God in my adult life and am re reading the Bible and thinking about what church fits my beliefs and I never thought I would join the catholic church until I listened to Matt Walsh
@abford03 Жыл бұрын
Except in this very video they literally talk about their head of faith who should be a prime example for all catholics says things that spread confusion, and outright heresy. And the bible actually states that God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33) So if God isn’t the author of confusion then it must means it’s a work of something else. So if the pope the supposed head of the true church is spreading confusion and creating a fog of distress and discomfort because people aren’t sure what to believe then would that not mean the pope is actively working against God? By not spreading plain truths? By spreading and sowing discourse? What is begot of confusion? Is it certainty? Conviction? Assurance? Or is it in fact chaos? Disorder? Havoc? Are these descriptions of our Just, Merciful or Loving Father above? Or are these the works of the deceptive, sly, cunning and cruel serpent? As stated in Matthew 7:20 “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Just a reminder the actions of the Pope according to Catholics are that he spreads confusion and outright heresy. He’s (Pope) a bad tree which is evidenced by his fruits. Which are bad. I’m non-denominational. I don’t ascribe to Catholicism because besides the Pope there’s plenty other problems with Catholicism as a whole.

I don't think Knowles answered it sufficiently. As a Catholic, the Church permits us to get tattoos but we are highly encouraged to be modest with them. Right, because He knew all of us would fall short of the law since none of us are perfect. So Jesus came and fulfilled the law, while also paying the price for our sins, faults, and short failings, through his crucifixion (the death and punishment We deserved). We are to boast and rely only on Jesus’ sacrifice for our salvation, not in our works or how “good” we are, because we all sin every day (most times without even realizing it). Our goal should not be in trying to accomplish each and every law by our own strength in order to be “righteous enough.” We are told to come to Jesus and give Him the control over our lives so that He will direct our life and ways (through the Holy Spirit). Our goal should be to have a relationship with Jesus, to get to know Him and love Him with all our hearts by prayer and reading His word(the bible). After that, He will do the rest. If we only trust in him

Matt Walsh is my favorite from the Daily Wire! I am a Christian and have multiple tattoos and plan to get more. However, they mean something to me (my animals, my late mother's favorite flowers, etc). I agree with Matt, he kind of put it in a way I would put it: you should wait, think about it, and make sure it truly means something to you. Don't be the 20yo that walks into a tattoo shop and gets something dumb/pagan. I also agree with him on aliens. I live in Utah and spent three months backpack camping near Skinwalker Ranch and the Indian territories around Duchesne UT. My group saw/experienced things that were definitely indescribable; things that couldn't be explained with science. (especially sun like lights in the sky that would hover and vanish in a blink of an eye). There is a legend with the Indian territories here, especially around Skinwalker Ranch. When the white colonists/mormons invaded Ute territory they put a curse on the land to plague the "whites". Apparently 'spirits' control the land and basically watch over it.

My parents made their hatred of body modification a core part of raising my siblings and me. Boys couldn’t have ear piercings at all, girls could get their ears pierced once when they turned 16. Any ink drawing on our hands or arms because we were bored in class would send my mother through the roof. Temporary tattoos were verboten. The thing they spoke against tattoos the most was their permanence. At 18 I had a chance to get a Chinese dragon on my upper arm done by an amateur, unlicensed artist in a living room in South Carolina. I remembered my parents warnings about tattoos being forever and decided not to get it. I toyed with a design idea for years of a full back piece and both sides that would be based on the styles used in Victorian wrought iron scrollwork and metal filigree. All black ink but fluid and swirling, not tribal looking. When I was 27 I finally found an artist that had an excellent portfolio, was personable (really important when you’re going to spend hours with them) and he created a breathtaking design that also included my four children’s names in the centerpiece. Eventually he also did both of my forearms. About 5 years before she passed away my mother said to me while we were in the kitchen making dinner, “I still don’t like tattoos but at least yours are beautiful.” I still get teary eyed remembering her saying that. The fact that she was able to look past her dislike of the concept of a tattoo and really see the time and effort I put in making sure I got tattoos I would never regret made me so proud that I had listened to her and my father’s warnings. “They’re beautiful because of you” was my response.
