I can understand that for sure! I keep my glass bottles in a plastic shelf that sits just outside my bathtub (I’m a bath person, which I’ve come to understand over the course of my life is more rare lol). So this works out, but I can’t imagine holding the glass bottles while standing!

I’m rarely compelled to write 5 or 1 star reviews because they’re usually just like the others already written. My 3 star reviews are when I have an equal number of pros and cons to share, so I think that’s helpful. Plus, when I read the 3 star reviews, people tend to sound more reasonable, less dramatic (not gushing or pissed!), and I trust that more, haha. 💞

Alice! Hi! Yes, I love a good milky cleanser but unfortunately, this particular one has an ingredient that personally breaks me out terribly so I can’t use it “ethylhexl palmitate” 🥴I exfoliate regularly and use retinal but it’s still an issue for me and I don’t really understand why that is but the breakouts are always huge and painful when I usually just get small whiteheads so I just avoid certain triggers when I can but I’m glad you don’t have that problem :)

Agreed, I find that essential oils are not out, but mixing them increases the odds of a reaction. I like the use of SAP + Ascorbic Acid. I would like a more concise formula from Neogen. This was great ✨ I think Good Molecules & PKY have great eye masks that can be multi-purpose.

I prefer both of those eye gels to these tbh. They’re both not as slippery, but still have great ingredients! With these Mizon gels, I really will need to lay down at least initially lol

Iunik is such an underrated brand, their serum texture are so so good for my skin that I stock up in multiples which is a huge deal in a huge skincare stash. However, I have recently acquired a fake bottle of the propolis, it came with a rough-edge metal cap, lighter serum colour, and the font on the box is darker and sharper than the original.

Where did you order the serum from that you got a fake? I assume most stuff from Amazon is fake, there's such a big industry selling counterfeit beauty, even if there's a real brand storefront on Amazon they can't guarantee the distribution warehouse workers won't grab a fake bottle from the shelf.

Must say, even though I have oily t-zone and my cheeks are bit on the dryer side, I love this cleanser for my morning cleanse. It doesn't dry out my drier patches and cleanses my shiny forhead just nicely 😁 having oily skin doesn't (in my opinion) mean you have to use some heavy duty cleanser. It's just sebum, not actual crude oil you're trying to rinse off 😅as for your rating, you would have B+ for the guesses, but your delivery of content brings it up to solid A+ as always.

Haha thank you! Yes I agree tbh. It’s hard for me to guess at how it feels to have oily skin (have never come close a day in my life lol), but I do agree that it’s not some kind of gross/dirty oil. It’s sebum. I would think a gentle cleanser would be ideal, just a bit of a sensory learning curve!

You can find more wrist cuffs (for washing face if people aren't sure how to locate them when they google) online all in packs of their own on Amazon and Walmart (though I know some try to avoid both of those). But they have like 4 pairs of them for 8-12 bucks or so. They've been life changing for me because I don't know if I'm just too tall for my sink or what but I make such a mess when washing my face before them. >

Darn my notification never kicking in! I do like viewing the lowest and highest reviews and figuring out whether or not I'd try a product. Once again, I'm going to ask another "have you tried this" question. This time it's, have you tried The History of Whoo brand? Oh boy, pore clogging (people need to check out Lab Muffin or even Dr Dray on that, lol). If people can put placenta, stem cells and the like on their face, butterfly pee can't be that traumatizing/digusting.

My primary guess for every 1-star skincare review, is "MY skin had a reaction to this product, DON'T BUY IT! EVERYONE STOP USING IT NOW!". People really struggle with the concept of reviewing a PRODUCT itself, rather than like, their own satisfaction levels with having skin that had a reaction to something (while in a sea of other people who are enjoying the product just fine). After that is people who bought a product that wasn't suitable for their situation or skin-type, and now the product has to receive a negative review for their uninformed purchase. Okay 3:25 is exactly this one. 15:21 - That's a great example there for my primary guess. She personally reacted to likely the propolis, then advises ALL people with sensitive skin to avoid it (when general skin sensitivity is I think irrelevant), and then because of likely just the propolis in this one product, she's now avoiding the WHOLE brand (like the earlier person with the cream cleanser now avoiding all of Isntree). 1 star.

I tried the #3 serum & toner, I like the serum but the toner just feels gross and heavy on my skin and it smells really peppery! You were cracking me up talking to the people who wrote off the brands after trying one product. 😂 Reading reviews that talk about breakouts but it sounds more like a skin reaction drive me crazy.

The tricky part of essential oils is that when they work for people, they work. Many of them are soothing, antibacterial, antioxidant, etc. However, they also contain many other components, including scent compounds and potential allergens It’s the pro/con of being so concentrated wrapped into one: the intensity will either work out well or go quite wrong!

Wait no…I don’t! I haven’t found anything as good as the I’m from mask sadly 😭 Farmacy’s didn’t compare for me, and that’s the only one I recall trying. But I can tell ya: I recently restocked the I’m from honey mask, full size, for $17 on stylevana. It’s worth checking there for their sales, and I even got it already (something like 3 weeks shipping!!)

@@AliceintheRabbitHole I do check sales but it NEVER FAILS…Within a few days after placing an order I waited weeks or months to place, they will literally have sales on exact products I ordered or gifts with purchase of those products etc. luckily this time I got gwp for the pyunkang yul set and a bogo on rovectin activating treatment lotion. I scraped the jar to at least spot treat the places I burned my skin with mild BHA toner and tret. I usually have no problem using those two together if I wait after using the toner. But on antibiotics my face is SUPER sensitive to everything. Inflammation is down and redness almost gone but I know I have about 5-6 days more before my barrier will recover. I have to give it to “I’m from” for their mugwort essence/cream and honey mask, pyunkang yul for their 3 piece set, skin 1004’s centella ampoule and skinfix barrier + cream. That’s my Korean skincare first aid kit every single time!

Hi Alice, I too suffer from dry acne prone skin and propolis serum resolved my dry and sensitive skin that still have oily pores. I have also remove the numbuzin toner as the ingredients does not work for me and cause the small pimples like growth..😅

whilst my skin is dry and sensitive as well, it’s also acne prone and i’ve heard that Ethylhexyl Palmitate in the cleanser has a high comedogenic rating so i’m afraid it might end up breaking me out if i try it

Ah we have the same skin type! I’ve found the comedogenicy scale mostly irrelevant for my skin, I suspect due to not having issues of a low turnover rate. But the tricky part with skin is the whole YMMV situation 😞 I wish K-Beauty offered more samples, that would be a dream come true!

About the wristbands without hairband... For those of us that are in countries where Shopee works: searched today for the wristbands there and there are a couple being sold. Like just the wristbands. They aren't the I Dew Care ones, but seems to be the same type of material. [If I'm able to get back to this video next month after I receive the ones I'm buying, I'll try to edit/comment here if they worked well. Also, if you live in a country that's easy to get the ones from I Dew Care, just go for them I guess? I'm talking about this Shopee thing just trying to help ppl that aren't finding/getting those shipped to their countries easily/at all]

Yep correct. That’s probably where I should move it tbh. It lives in its little pouch on the sink counter, but the problem is that I’m typically going, “eh I don’t feel like unwrapping it; would rather push down on a pump and be done” 🤣 Close, not the serum though!

It’s interesting, but it’s important to point out that doesn’t necessarily mean it still leads to the exact same results (the part marketing teams will always leave out lol). It’s essentially a part of the story but not the full story!

In order for Bakuchiol to do what it is supposed to do, it MUST be in an oil and not an oil in emulsion or cream base. There’s a Canadian cosmetic chemist who goes into details on this and why she thinks so many don’t think bakuchiol work because brands are making it into creams when they defeats the purpose. Either way, bakuchiol isn’t my favorite ingredient

Aw oh no!! Urghhh ok I should spoil it for you then: yep the toner didn’t work for me either 😭 In some good news: 1. I still like the 3 serum and 2. I’m actually able to use the 3 toner on my body? (Amazing how body skin really is far more resilient than the face) Soooo I’d say patch test it, maybe even for a few days before using it all over. I think you’ll love it if it does pass the test, but it is odd how quite a few of us seem to not be able to use that one!!
