You have a great singing voice. Any tips on singing that second line “All my troubles seemed so far away.” Every time I feel like it doesn’t transition well the higher notes

Thank you! And my advice would depend on what specific issue you’re having. I think getting the song in the best key your voice is the first thing I would do myself. I believe Paul sang this song in G, which was way too high for me, so I moved the key to D. Also on that specific part of the song, the chords are a little unusual in regards to the key signature. They are kind of “out of bounds”, and that was the toughest part of the song for me to get down. I’m happy to elaborate further if necessary! Hopefully that made sense!

Guitar too loud to start with my friend. Too much attack and singing was a bit forceful. Listen to the original and see how the song is not forced but gradually coaxed out. You're a better singer than McCartney.
