Can confirm that error message for the mermaids. My best friend worked at pirates and I'd often get Snapchats of the blue error screens in the water. The static statute of the skeleton was being moved for more space for guest evacuations on the beach and it simply crumpled apart. No more mermaids from that point and the original dead men tell no tales audio track was put back in with the "redhead" refurb.

I love Disney with all my heart but I will never be shy about the things I hate that they've done. Departing from Beastly Kingdom to promote a movie that would go down as one of the most forgettable Disney movies ever is something I will never get over. And then the Tiki Goddess... it's a shame.
@kristenblackbeard54535 жыл бұрын
Dinoland was always a part of DAK. Beastly Kingdom was planned for the area that became Camp Minnie Mickey, and later Pandora. If you look at the DAK logo, it has both a dragon and a Dino. Countdown to Extinction was rethememed to Dinosaur but Beastly Kingdom was long cut for budgetary reasons and the park was already open.

Great video man! I will honestly be pissed if they get rid of Dinosaur...The ride needs an overhaul, for sure, but it doesn't need an Indiana Jones overhaul...We've already lost beastly kingdom to Avatar Land, I don't want to lose the only part of the park I enjoy anymore to another movie that has nothing to do with animals. I love Indiana Jones, heck I'm a bigger fan of that series than I am of Star Wars, but it doesn't belong in that park. He's an archaeologist, not a paleontologist.

Thank you Yesterworld! I knew something was different about the exterior of the Tiki room. Now it's confirmed, it was Uti and the original roof. I thought my childhood memories were wrong. the last time I went to Disneyland as a kid I was nine when I returned to Disneyland I was thirty six. now thanks to you I don't feel crazy anymore. now if only you could explain why I have memories of Casey Jr. Circus Train running fast especially at night. I asked a Disneyland fan who is older than me about it. He claimed someone died and Disney kept it super quite, and slowed Casey down to avoid future problems. Your thoughts on this please?
@Phantomwise27 жыл бұрын
How fast are we talking? And around what year do you remember riding it? I can tell you no one died on or from Casey Jr., but I do know there was an incident where Casey Jr. derailed and someone's back was injured. I heard about that from Mouse Tales: a Behind-the-Ears look at Disneyland, but it doesn't mention when this incident occurred or that the speed was changed, but does mention it was closed the whole summer to replace the track. The cast members rewrote the Casey Jr. theme song: "Casey Jr.'s coming off the track! It's time for ribs to crack! It's time for broken backs!" Edit: However, the "People vs. Disneyland" doesn't mention a lawsuit about derailment. It does mention a 1969 lawsuit where the conductor lost control of the train and repeatedly tried to use the brakes; the braking caused jerks and one woman had injuries (not a back injury though). Does not mention if the ride was slowed in response.

I'm sort of 50/50 on this. But I'd rather have them do a massive overall and just add visual elements to the insane amount of absolute darkness. Make me feel as if I've traveled to the past. Okay so this has bothered me for a while. On the Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin ride, there was originally an effect at the end where the smarty Weasel in the Dip machine would actually be seen spraying dip to the right of him right before guests got near him. I can't tell if the water was colored or if it had a green light on it, but it definitely existed. You can see it the best in this video around the 2:47 mark: kzbin.info/www/bejne/naaYeHqbr9BkesU. Thank you for confirming that the pterodactyl used to move! I thought I had imagined it for the longest time because I had gotten so used to the "bolted down" version. In the latest refurbishment, I also noticed the asteroid no longer appears overhead in the final scene. I hadn't even noticed the asteroid effect until recently, but it made sense to drop the effect since the focus is on the carnotaur anyway.

When I was younger I remember going on small world at Disney land in California and I know for a fact there was a part in the ride were there was a doll stabbing another doll I know I seen it but I can’t find anything about it anywhere it was in about 2006 or 2005

I knew I wasn’t crazy about the chamber of destiny not working anymore also can you do a separate video on the list effects of Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, I’ve never known about the vortex at the gate or the ice effect before the previous video Edit: I did some digging and I found that the mirror effect at the loading area used to make it so you can see the vehicle ahead of you go into one of the rooms. Also that the giant snake is becoming the snake dinosaur in Ellen’s Energy Adventure, it’s starting to have less motion, it’s eyes don’t glow anymore and it’s fangs don’t retract and it’s not gonna be long until they remove it or hopefully fix it Another edit: actually doing some more digging a few the of effects are starting to lose their touch like the lasers that come out of the eye in the big room

The mirrors in Forbidden Eye don't show you the vehicle ahead anymore? Aww. It's been a few years.
@Lemonaidz77 жыл бұрын
Padsquad2010 part of the reason is because of the digital effects they added

Turning Dinosaur into Indy makes complete sense.
@CosplayCore7 жыл бұрын
No it doesn't. How does Indie fit Animal Kingdom?
@bernebelmont18577 жыл бұрын
It does fit, but it would be better if there was an all new Indiana ride and a refurbishment to Dinosaur
@kristenx07 жыл бұрын
No it doesn't. Indiana Jones has nothing to do with the animal kingdom, hence it should not go in Animal Kingdom.
@kristenx07 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I totally get that. I just meant no it doesn't make complete sense turning it into Indiana Jones because even if the tracks are the same, it still doesn't fit in the land. Changing it to something different just because it's the same track, but doesn't fit the theme of the park is just a lazy way out.
@kristenx07 жыл бұрын
Yeah but that's a stretch. The setting of a ride doesn't make it fit within a land, it's the theme of the ride. And the theme of Indiana Jones doesn't fit within Animal Kingdom.

It's amazing how really documented your videos are. I love them, are the highlight of my day, week and sometimes month. I really love them. Hope you go on and do a only dinosaur based documentary that covers JP you can count me in. I'm just so curious on how you do your research
