It is very unlikely that he will climb it in the near future as he cannot return to Egypt until he is 30 or else he'll have to participate in military training (because that is a requirement for all Egyptian males under 30). So the only way he'll be able to do is to somehow make a deal with the government. Or if he tries to do it when he's 30, people will have forgotten about him and he will have to start the process all over again.

It is one of my dreams to go to Egypt and see the pyramids, I'm currently 16 years old, I've been to Africa before, but I was only able to go to Senegal. I am extremely grateful for that trip, it was the best trip of my life and I want to go back so badly, but Egypt is still up there. I used to tell my parents I wanted to go to Egypt before the pyramids fall down, the pyramids falling was one of my greatest fears as a child. I still have my whole life ahead of me and I still have 188 more countries to explore. I know I'll never get to all of them, but I hope I can at least scratch the surface.

Back when my dad was a kid, they could just hang out at the pyramids whenever they want. He grew up in Giza, right next to the pyramids aswell.

My number one dream has always been to visit the pyramids of Egypt and see as much of Egypt as possible. My while life since I was a child my family and friends have always told me never to go. That it is the worst place to visit. I have never believed my family but It has made me more cautious and made me feel very nervous to go. When my family tells me my dream is not possible, it ruins your dreams and makes your heart ache for it more. I feel your pain! I'm still aching to go. But still haven't . Follow your dreams and never give up. I will keep my head up still!
