@Helena Acevedo There are perks to growing up in a small town but I kind of hate it. Words spreads too fast, there is a lot of drama, no industry, and you don't have many options for friends. For example I'm a drummer and guitarist, but there are literally two other people in the school that can play anything (other than in the school band) and we don't like the same music

I'm sure y'all will never see this but i just wanted to comment and let you guys know this video single handedly changed my perspective on what it means to live a fulfilling life. I watched this when it was first posted and think about it weekly, especially the clip with the teacher who moved away and came back because she realized she could make a much greater impact in a small community. I grew up in a smaller town and never felt like I fit in, so I moved away to the city never expecting to look back. Now I've been here for a decade and a lot of my time is spent feeling like a cog in the machine and reminiscing on the place I came from. This video and its concept as a whole is so incrediblely beautiful and human and I really feel grateful to have been witness to it. So thank you so much. And if my family and I ever get to follow our dreams and move out to a little farm in the middle of nowhere I will continue to think of this video and be thankful for it ❤

I was born and raised near Los Angeles, so definitely a VERY highly populated area. I've driven across the country and through the Midwest several times now, and have been to some extremely small towns with populations under 1000. Never before have I had such genuine and friendly interactions with complete strangers... Everyone knows everyone, and they are all willing to drop everything to help someone they've only just met, the hospitality is unmatched, they make you feel like you belong. A few years ago, my boyfriend's uncle decided to make the big move from Fresno, CA to a very small town in southern Kansas, and we decided to travel with him. We arrived late at night, and were shocked that the only gas station in town had two ancient pumps and was closed until morning. There was only one small family market for food, and one church. It was my first time being somewhere that isolated, so it was quite a shock. First thing in the morning, we were unloading the moving truck, and I about had a mini heart attack when I turned around to see that the local mailman had followed me into the garage looking to welcome us all to town! He knew absolutely everyone and treated us like we'd been there forever!

@@PaulieTheGreat OHHH, so THATS’s how it feels Many of us frequently hear about sex where the man finishes, the woman doesn’t because the man doesn’t really try to help her, she says “it’s okay” (when it probably isn’t) and he just rolls over to sleep like it’s no big deal. Last night, I received a small taste of what that must feel like for the millions (and probably billions) of women who have experienced that at some point in their life. My girlfriend (F28) and I (M30) have been together for over a year. Sex has always been amazing where she used to finish regularly. However recently, she went on antidepressants which have made finding her orgasm a real challenge. We’ve gone weeks where we frequently have sex where I’m the only one that finishes (though we are in love, I would imagine that was probably irritating). When it does happen for her, we feel like popping a celebratory bottle of champagne. And fortunately, after a lot of experimentation of what works and what doesn’t in our new normal, she is starting to come more regularly. Anyway, last night she turned to me and said she wanted to have sex. After a massage, and a mix of oral, fingering and using vibrators, she had an intense finish. We cuddled for a bit as she came down, and then she got up and said “I’m gonna go to the bathroom, I’ll be back” and winked at me. Now here I was thinking “ah yes, my turn”, but then she comes back in the room, kisses me and says “goodnight darling”. The lights go off. First thing that runs through my mind is “what the hell!” and felt myself becoming annoyed and resentful that I didn’t get to finish. I asked myself “should I bring this up?” “Why doesn’t she care about this?” and reams of other questions. I decided to shelve it and go to sleep. Even though I’m a tad annoyed still, the morning has brought some helpful reflections, some of which I knew already and some which were new: Particularly if you’re with a partner for awhile, finishing is not a scoreboard. You’re in the sack with them because you enjoy intimacy with them. Coming is not the final goal nor is it something you’re entitled to. This comment I’m aiming particularly at men and not at women since I’m pretty sure most women already get this. And also because... Holy shit, so many women in the world must be frustrated. They really take the whole “not coming because your partner doesn’t try to help you” and it happening so regularly on the chin like champs. I wish I could collectively upvote all the women on reddit on that basis alone. I realise I’m speaking from a position of privilege as a man on this one, so sorry if I get this wrong. I can’t know the dynamics of everyone’s relationships or sex lives. But if you’re having unsatisfying sex, you need to speak up. It’s not okay to act like it’s okay. If I sat here pissed off about not getting off one time, I can’t imagine having a sex life where my partner doesn’t make an effort and me not telling them about it. Most people want their partners to finish, some because they truly want their partners to enjoy it, others for their own ego. But most people are accepting of feedback, particularly if it’s to help you come. That said...Guys, we gotta do better. I’m not speaking to all of us here, but there’s a reason why they’re so many articles online from women asking or advising the best way to broach conversations with their partners about being unsatisfied with sex. Don’t assume what works on one women will work on another. And though I’m probably guilty of this, always look for ways to keep things fresh in the bedroom. Routine is the harbinger of staleness and boredom. Finally, when it doubt, just ask her. The strongest thing you can do is get out of the way of your own ego, be a bit vulnerable, and ask her what works for her and what doesn’t.

How beautiful for the entire town to show up. Even the Sherriff. It's sad how much the world has lost through modernity. In the old days, communities would gather from time to time for dances, celebrations etc and so people would not feel so disconnected. Native Americans still have such functions. Jane Austen described those regular dances for the entire village where Mr. Darcy would not be bothered...When Thomas when to Cameroon, these villagers in the evening gathered to dance around the fire. I think that's partly why people go for concerts, football games, attend church, etc...just for a sense of community or belonging. But, it's not the same.

I'm really glad I bump into your channel, I been watching your videos today and this one by far was probably the most wholesome. Normally when people (including me) think about the Midwest and small town you think that people that live there are stuck in their ways not welcoming and basically the opposite of what we saw in this videos. You guys are making a difference and showing there's more kindness in this world and in this country. Once again thank you and keep doing a great job

I personally feel like this party was more meaningful and fun than other parties that Yes Theory threw in LA or other places. Loved this episode!!! This should become a series where Yes Theory organizes parties in towns that no one has ever heard of or very remote towns.

You guys gotta go to Hanksville Utah and do this!! The community is so loving and connected with a population of less than 300. It’s surrounded by countless mesmerizing locations and national parks. Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch even hid out after heists just a few miles away, it would be an amazing video for a spontaneous trip!
