It is so sad, that because of humans being so careless with their garbage, these animals have to suffer!

Plastic in the ocean is a real threat to the environment. We should all do our part to reduce plastic waste.

If the seals stay all local, then game wardens got to hammer home the point to all marinas, about what the trash is doing!! The states got to get packaging laws changed and run littering fines through the roof when caught!!

Makes me wonder what what they do if they saw a large male elephant seal with some kind of plastic buried in it neck? Seeing those videos of how aggressive they can be how could you get close enough if it was in a group with others?

Ok.... nevermind it happens to elephant seals also. There are some really disgusting photos online of it.

These sea lions look a lot bigger than those fur seals. I don't think their rescue methods are an option here.

First off I applaud you for going out and very likely saving these animals lives. But what in the hell is with the tagging?!?! You are distressing the animal more, mutalating it more and putting more plastic junk in the ocean. Oh let's put another tag on it, why not add 50 goddam tags on it?!? knock that crap off!!
