Nice review! Love my RTIC 45 for $150! Fuels a family of four on/off the beach for days and days!

Thanks. I have nothing against the RTIC brand at all. Seems like were I like there is only yeti dealers in the area, and I like supporting local businesses.
@DavidC18 жыл бұрын
How long did u have to wait on the RTIC.
@Hoveyish8 жыл бұрын
I waited about 3-4 weeks which was much less than what they told me it would be. It seems like they are getting things out quicker than you read in some of the 2015 reviews that you may see. I ordered in the spring though and got it the first day of my summer vacation so the waiting didn't bother me. The only real bummer is if people want them right away, which I do as well, Looking at the 20 and 65 right now! Hope this helps!

Thanks, Scott. Nice father's day gift! I've been on the fence myself on the Roadie 20 or the Tundra 35. I intend to use it for day or weekend trips at most. After watching your video I will most likely go for the 35.
@GReviewz8 жыл бұрын
I was on the fence also. I went into a local dealer and compared both side by side. The roadie carry handle is a nice touch however if you load it down with drink/ice it will get heavy and trying to walk will cause it to bang your leg. The tundra 35 and up has the soft rope handles as well as the built in handles under the rim. you also get a removable shelf to put items you don't want to get wet.

You just gave an idea to go to my local hotels to get ice lol

I leave my new 35 in my truck, all winter, filled with water bottles, only, to keep from freezing. I add ice for the summertime. I already have a 50 quart Igloo, for bigger get -to- gathers.
@GReviewz3 жыл бұрын
In the winter I generally don’t leave it in the truck but during the summer it spends a lot of its time there. Did you also see our igloo cooler review?

Great review you help me out choosing the right size.

Thanks for watching. Wow that yeti video was one of my first reviews. Since this review I’ve had two kids and the yeti 35 is way too small now. My best cooler though. If you look at our videos you will find a review of a much larger cooler.

awesome fathers day present, shes a keeper...love my Yeti 65 other than the weight.... the 35 would not be big enough for us camping the weekend
@GReviewz8 жыл бұрын
Yeah my wife is a keeper. I love the 35. Yeah if you factor in the meat etc you would keep cold for a camping trip it would be small. The trip we took was a weekend hotel trip. It kept all my drinks cold and had ample room for that.

Great review! Was wondering if a gallon of milk would fit upright in your cooler? Thanks

Thanks for watching. I have not used the yeti in some time. Here is a link to my new cooler but in the review it shows what it will hold. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaPVioN8qKuqpLs

Love the real world review. Just still wish he held more days of ice

There are many ways to get more ice retention than I did. But I used it as I would normally.

Did you chill the inside and outside of the cooler and are the drinks cold to start with!?
@GReviewz3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I dont have that kind of time nor place to throw the cooler in a walk in fridge/freezer to Pre chill inside and outside. The drink were mostly chilled but some were room temp. It’s a real world test not everyone Pre games 48 hours before.

Does it come with a basket
@GReviewz4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yeas most of the tundra yeti coolers come with the basket. The smallest model called the roadie does not.

I have the same cooler. Condensation forms around the drain plug, have u had this problem ? I'm hoping nothing is wrong with mine
@GReviewz7 жыл бұрын
I have to say since doing this review I have not noticed any condensation around the drain plug. I will have to say I find myself using ice packs more than ice on my trips I use this cooler.

Bought a roadie this past weekend.. I noticed today mine has condensation around the drain plug... my 26 qt orca does not condensate I've had it almost 2years

Review of actually putting it to use. A YETI will keep your drinks colder, longer, and have more ice if everything in it is pre chilled... Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind check out my camping setup video, My YETI is shown. I've been looking for a day trip cooler, trips with the wife and kids. The 35 is the one.
@GReviewz7 жыл бұрын
RedWhite&Blue 78 thank you for watching the video. I do love the 35 for day trips. I will have to check out your channel.

Yeah yetis are pricey and are pritty much the benchmark for coolers. Go check out rtic coolers. They are about 95% what a yeti is but 1/3 less money or more!
@jjlebon67984 жыл бұрын
GReviewz thanks. Did you check out the rtic. Is there a reason you got the yeti instead. So many reviews are mixed on both of these coolers
@GReviewz4 жыл бұрын
When I went and got my yeti it was because I was at a local dealer and I wanted a color other than white. At the time rtic only made white and because you have to order that cooler online. I like to touch and feel something before I buy it. I mean the real only negative thing people say about the yeti is the price. If they were cheaper people would love them.

GReviewz well I just broke bad and got a yeti in sea foam blue your video and insight really helpd me make a decision because of real life scenarios. Thanks man
@GReviewz4 жыл бұрын
Very nice. You won’t regret your purchase. I wish they had sea foam when I got mine. What size did you get?

Next time put all the drinks in with a small amount of ice the night before and then fill it with ice and it lasts for 5+days easy.
@GReviewz8 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was going to pre chill the cooler before hand, but I wanted to see how the cooler would do if I was to use it the way I used to use my old igloo, drop in the ice and go. But yeah free Ice at the hotels, most of the time an ice machine on every floor.
@robertthibodeaux44356 жыл бұрын
Wth? No Beer? 😳 My 35 seems to keep ice longer than my 20,45 or my 65! My 35 I like to use the most!!

Thank you for watching. thats what the fridge in the hotel is for. I only have the yeti 35. wish i had the money to buy all the other sizes. the next size cooler im looking at might be the 75.
