I don't even know where to begin. I'm a 61 year old fat woman and a year ago I couldn't even approach child's pose without crying. Kneeling and sitting back on the heels has been painful for me my entire life, even when I was a skinny kid. Now, I can get into the child's pose and hold it for the allotted time. I even did a modified version of the toe squats, just being upright on my knees, but my toes were tucked under the entire time, stretching out and I held reverse prayer as well!! This is so much progress for me, I can't even express it. Since I discovered your yin yoga channel and joined your FB group, my practice has really come alive! Thank you so much for your continued dedication to bring us great classes and educate us in the beauty of yin! Blessed be!

Thank you, Kassandra. I have a lot of injuries sustained during my time in the military and from playing contact sports. For years now, I have limited myself to only doing weights in the gym because I can alter my workouts to cater for my injuries. However, this has caused my body to become so inflexible that it has added to my chronic pain, and I can hardly even do the beginner yoga poses. Your classes are helping me to undo some of this accumulative damage. I am grateful that you share your knowledge to help people like myself. Namaste.

Same here. Lots of old injuries and operations that caused inflexibility, and I have tried different yin yoga that were always uncomfortable and painful, so i was about to give up on yin yoga until this evening when I found your link. This was amazing, it was my first time with Yin yoga and it's absolutely my thing, I love the stretch and relaxion, even though I had to skip those toe squats, my toes just couldn't handle it. I wish I had props to do all the other practices! The music was lovely.

Thank you for this. The toe squats weren't happening for me, but everything else felt great, if not a little painful at first. My back has been so tense and sore that the reclined pigeon and twist were the perfect answer.

I struggle with toe squats too because I had to have the ball of my right foot fused from overuse injury and arthritis. I always have to skip that plus do warrior one instead of crescent pose on my right side. It's frustrating when toe stretches come up in yin. I usually do what I can on left and fake it on right. Other than that I love yin and looking forward to trying this class this evening.

Omg I loved this! I have chronic fatigue syndrome and tried to practice for my health but really didn't love yoga or get excited to practice because it always felt too fast for me & didn't really feel as calming. I found Yin Yoga but the poses in other videos were still too hard. I am so proud - I managed all of this today (modified but still amazing) & I love yoga now. Thank you so much Kassandra 😊

My wife and I did this class together. We both feel so ready for the day. This class is great for hips, both of us feel so open. The poses were held long enough to really get to a deep stretch. I also enjoyed how minimal the talking was, her voice is very soothing. This class was great!!!

Hi. This is my 2nd practise after finding your chanel this week. I'm really enjoying your Yin classes. I've signed up to your free 7 day Yin programme. This being day 1. I nreally struggled with the toes tucked under kneeling pose!! But after releasing the fascia under my feet with a tennis ball I found it less intense. Thank you for the yoga. I just did this as my first experience doing yoga. After doing plenty of research on different types of yoga I thought yin yoga would be best for me, and I was so right. I've read about the good effects of yoga for those with ptsd, and I healed from so much just in these 40 minutes.
