i recently sent a song to my bf called “the lie we told and how we told it” also by yo la tengo. he was listening to it on repeat while fixing something on his PC, but when the few repeats were over, this song played. he told me about it and how he really liked both, but i hadn’t heard of this song yet. so while we were talking and playing games, i started playing this song on repeat. it’s a little random and cringe, but finding new things with him and stuff he likes too, it makes me so happy

A song that reminds me of riding in a cab in Glasgow in the middle of the night, crossing roads under bridges, yellow sandstone buildings on every side, but never too tall, never tall enough to engulf the vastest blue sky I have ever walked under. I didn't discover this song in Glasgow. It just reminds me of it. Some songs just sound like places you loved.

Just found this and listening to this calming song now on Spotify and I already love it! The crickets in the background is so relaxing and it feels like I'm sitting outside and watching the starry night sky! Such a beautiful feeling!☺

This song came on during a massage last week. Tears, man. Reminded me of being a kid, as the song already does.

Is the sound at the beginning the sound of the spring peeper frog? I’m so fucking sure it is, but idk how to confirm this
