Thing is with Grian, though he’s regarded as the chaotic one on Hermitcraft, he’s used to having a set goal or a plan for the video and if there isn’t any plan, he’s used to taking charge and having people actually follow his lead. He was really out of his element here, especially with the fact he had tonsillitis and the fact that he’s not used to working with them (Grian’s an introvert fun fact). Mumbo’s more used to going with the flow and following people’s leads so he adjusted far better than Grian. It didn’t help that they didn’t seem to explain the fact they do bits either, so a portion of the video is just Mumbo and Grian understanding their humour (with the latter just being lost the whole time).

Grian basically started Wars every season of hermitcraft he has been on so far s6 with Team Star vs Team G, season 7 with the Macyllieum resistance and he kinda started the prank war of s8 with the Boats bombs 💀

@@YoBGS He has a bunch of short videos on his second channel ‘Mumbo’, reactions to it prolly wouldn’t be as popular but since they’re so short I think they’d be worth watching in your own time since there’s a lot on cars! He’s very good at making films and mini-documentaries (when he and Grian first became friends, he went over to Grian’s house and made a documentary on Grian’s cats, it was great).

Best part of the oringal has to be Tommy and Jack trying to be PG. Then Jack messed up in the first few minute. The way Grian turn to Jack and says "Excuse me" is absolutely priceless! i desperately want docm77 (Hermitcraft's resident game-breaking redstoner with a creeper skin) and awesamdude (the Dream SMP's resident game-breaking redstoner with a creeper skin) to collab on a video and honestly given the fact that awesamdude is ACTUALLY a pg streamer i feel like theres a good chance of it happening (but if not naturally, i think one of these Tommy's Not So Lovely World videos would be great to have them both in a video)

@@ivyinkwell1754 honestly, he's a really cool guy. also hes one of the (very rare) non american/british/canadian English-speaking Minecraft youtubers out there (he's German). he does like... INSANE stuff with redstone that is VERY game breaking (like making a round nether portal or making a nether portal out of diamond blocks or copper) so like. solid 10/10 guy would very much reccomend

Watch Grian or Mumbo's perspective in the Last Life series, it's a really good series with a similar story flow like the Dream SMP, but it's shorter, about 10 episodes. It's not finished yet but it's nearing the end. It's an amazing series. Or you can watch Grian in the first season (Third Life) also about ten episodes, this one is complete. Mumbo wasn't in that one.

thing is, grian's generally pretty chaotic in his own spaces. like on his evo series he was the server prankster, and the same has kind of carried over to hermitcraft If you want more mumbo or grian stuff, specifically their brand of chaos, just like. any of the hermitcraft 8 videos would be fun to react to i think. this season has been so friggin chaotic in so many ways and it keeps escalating. i'm talking full on prank war with lots of boats, giant builds, and over 70 floating ravagers and a giant moon. specific episode-wise, mumbo's episode 16, or any of his most recent 4/5 videos (ep 26-30) would be particularly fun, as well as grian's ep 12, 17, or 20-22. they're just all great fun and just so so chatoic. edit, because apparently i can't shut up about this: this is a pretty good video if you want an idea of the general chaos of hermitcraft: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaqYgpSLab-Amq8

adding on, in less of a "this is chaotic and funny to watch" and more of a "this will blow your mind" kinda way, any of doc and ren's hermitcraft videos from this season are a must, very much including their first. they're exploiting game mechanics that i didn't even know existed and also doing a bit of an arg (hermatrix, it's good fun). so yeah, definitely recommend them. also they have cool voices

Technically, one hermit can suggest a name to join, and all the hermits have to agree with the suggestion for the person to be accepted (that's how some older members didn't come back to the server - there wasn't consensus about their return)
