Oh absolutely. My only official runs are for metroid dread 100%. But I’ve recorded hollow knight any% NMG, and kirby forgotten land metaknight cup (i use needle instead of hammer because i like it more) Legend of zelda a link to the past 100% has been one ive been wanting to record. Ive get well under 3:30 and i think i can get a sub 3 I just started playing ori will of the whisp and thats been going well. I might try some runs at that. And silksong is supposedly coming ay some point

So the horrific thing about the credits sequence is that the double jump is a somersault into a jump. You hold and release B.

It should be noted that, at the time I'm writing this, Jaiden is still in the Top 20 rankings for Rhythm Heaven Fever speedruns, and 4th place out of the WiiU players, which I think is still pretty dang impressive on her part, even if she was being humble about it

It cracked me up when she mentioned running Elden Ring as an old man because I just rewatched Secret Sleepover Society's Dark Souls 1 playthrough as an old lady character named Granny Smith.

@@YoBGS Yeah, I know that feeling. And it's not an unfounded fear. Losing momentum is a very real thing. It's sent a lot of my personal projects into cryostasis. However, burnout is also a real thing, and is even worse in a lot of ways. If you ever feel like you need a break, take one. Your content and your health will be all the better for it. And always remember, make the content you want to. Be it History, Gaming, Mythology, Music, or whatever else. We'll all be here to see it.

I remember watching a Blindfolded speedrun of Rhythm Heaven Fever once and if I’m correct for a superb it doesn’t depend on how many you miss but when you miss so a miss in the beginning of a mini game it’s gonna hurt less than one near the end

Well there are lots of different cues in the songs that can help if you listen for them, some are necessary to complete levels blindfolded

I remember starting speedrunning a non-game (There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension) for the first time and I got softlocked. (At that point, I don't even know what softlock means.) The layout in the OBS is bad and it's recorded in 48 FPS lol. The only speedrun I've attempted is Dark Souls. My goal was to get under two hours (I'm a super casual player and the record at the time was around 44 minutes or something), but I ended up getting just over three hours. Which was still fast for never having speedrun before but I really wanted to start a Soul Level One run so I never got around to beating my PB.

Dark Souls is a braaaave first game! I know that I could never beat it that quick. That's why I stick to retro games for my runs. For the most part they're super predictable and as long as you practice you can get pretty good

06:23 this takes me back to my old Rune Factory 3 accident speedrun i did which is imagine harvest moon or stardew with a fantasy rpg element, i was at junior high and i want to basically finish all my games i have in my ds emulator, and to give a bit context Rune Factory 3 storyline needs you to be married to progress the last chapter, and to get married you need to get enough hearts with the girls and finish all their request but you can only take one in all 3 spot available request And during that run i got so many love potions (if gifted gives so many affection point) and so many treasure chest that i dont need to craft any gear during my playthrough lol i never realized how lucky i am with that run lol

It could be something like connecting with friends who will help you take responsibility for things, memorizing Scripture passages you can apply in your life, or cultivating compassion by serving in your community. The more you intentionally pursue actions that lead to humility, compassion, and kindness, the more these traits will naturally become a part of your life. And as you pursue the qualities mentioned in Colossians 3:12, the changes they produce will be most evident in the way you treat other people. The apostle John says that we cannot say that we love Jesus if we hate one another (1 John 4:20); therefore, a life that reflects Jesus will embody love. According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, love is "patient and kind... not easily angered, not holding a grudge... All suffers, all believes, all hopes, all endures. Love never perishes." A life marked by God's love will demonstrate the things the apostle Paul quotes in Colossians 3:12. So if we want to live like Jesus, we need to receive the new life He has given us and accept His unconditional love. Only then can we begin to reflect His love to others, showing people compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. And today, what do you need to do to dress these characteristics? Write down one or two struggles that often trip you up and make a plan to remove them from your life, replacing them with actions that bring you closer to Jesus.
