this is my second journey on yoga camp - after years of intermittent yoga and taking 60 days to do 30 day challenges then taking a few months off, I'm finally managing to get a daily practice together and it's so good for my self esteem! I have my own little achievement each morning ( thanks to Adriene) and that sets me up for the rest of the day - that 'at least I got one thing right today' feeling! today is day 68 of my streak - and as good a time as any to take stock and celebrate. so much gratitude and love to Adriene and all you fellow life strivers out there. xxxx

Wow! Had me in tears with the beginning affirmation. Today is my 28'th birthday. As someone with anxiety and depression, I have always hated my birthday. I returned gifts, rejected parties and sat at home waiting for friends and family to forget. The wounded child inside could not be happy with anything anyone tried to do for me, and did not deserve to be noticed and loved. But today, I choose to celebrate. I choose to be kind to myself, to recognize growth instead of my flaws. I choose to love the bundle of purple balloons my husband got for me and to buy myself a gift. I choose to do yoga at home in jammies all day and enjoy my flexibility, instead of feeling like a loser for not currently having a job. I choose to see myself as stronger and wiser then I was a year ago, not the same 'unchanged ' girl with her list of unattained dreams. I choose to see myself as a good mom and a great person. Thanks Adrienne, for helping me feel beautiful and strong from the inside out.

there was a thunderstorm while doing this session, perfect synchronicity with all the thunder and lightning during the warrior poses and then calming towards the end. opened the window, put my mat in front and felt like thor brewing up my own storm 🔨 😂⚡️

This is not my first 30 days yoga challenge with Adriene, but they always take more than 30 days and I rarely accomplish them. Today is January 9th and so far I'm practicing every single day. I gave myself the goal to finish the challenge on January 30th to prove myself that I can do what I promise myself to do.

A notification remined me of this comment... wow! Today was my 90th consecutive day of yoga. I never missed a single day (I just swiched to other videos a couple of times because a wasn't feeling very well). Guys, you can do it! The first weeks are the hardest part, but once you make it part of your daily routine it will change your mind, your body and your life.

Those warrior poses were killer for me! But I definitely feel bolder for doing them and ridding myself of the negative thoughts I tend to have towards them as I focused on my body and breath.

I am bold to the bone. :) Many thanks for this yoga camp from Estonia! As a non-flexible person it is hard for me to do most of the poses, but I try to work with what I've got- boldness to show up. This journey is mind-changing. Every time I show up, I feel as if I have added value to myself, but maybe it's just peeling off a layer of self hate and allowing myself to be me and enjoy it. I did this video in a room without any light source except for a salt rock lamp so I could see the shadows of Warrior 1, 2, arms extended up... and I felt like a BADASS. Love this.

Today was the first day that my local gym finally opened. We were a small group of 5 mask wearing men and women with VERY low expectations for our performance. Yet, we five came at 6am for what turned out to be an awesome functional fitness class with a tough tabata chaser at the end. To my surprise, the valslide mountain climbers were not as tough as they were in the past. My hip flexors weren't screaming! I have Yoga with Adriene to thank for that. I may not yet be able to put my heels flat in downward dog and warrior three continues to elude me, but I am getting stronger and BOLDER. Thank you, Adriene for what you provide to all of this in the FWFG world. Namaste!

I completely understand the turtle shell/Quasimodo neck reference. My posture was atrocious before I started practicing yoga almost 2 months ago. Tucking my shoulder blades and lifting my heart are what finally connected my awareness to my posture. I've always tried to "stand up straight" but never really under what that meant. Now I think 'slight bend in the knees, tuck your pelvis, draw your shoulder blades together, and lift your heart.' It's becoming second nature. Thank you for that!!

I love how this yoga camp is helping with my stamina as well. I used to take a rest in child's pose a lot after vinyasas and such but now I don't feel the need and just take another one and rest in downward facing dog pose which is a first for me ahaha

Instead, as I did in the past, I waited for my instructor to tell me what to do and what was supposed to feel good for me. I woke up this morning feeling really cruddy-- just every little thing was causing me to fly off the handle-- and my poor mood made me hesitate to start day 8. I was already frustrated and I saw that day 8 was a BOLD Warrior practice, which in my crappy mood, I decided I was not feeling very bold but instead very bratty (In all honesty I get very frustrated in Warrior sequences even on good days). My poor mood instead led me to "Yoga for when you are in a Bad Mood" (PERFECT). Adriene, you tricked me and got me to do a 34 minute Warrior practice and turn my mood around! Now imagine my pleasure when I returned later in the afternoon to Day 8 for another Warrior sequence and realized that this was just a bold version of the "Bad Mood Yoga." Adriene, you witch! Now I'm not only feeling light and joyful but BOLD as well. AND I practiced yoga twice today! Thank you for this practice and camp, and giving me the resources I need to deal with crap moods.

And wow, what a journey it has been! Every time I lose track of my practice I always ALWAYS come back to you, Adriene. And I know it's because you feel like an old friend. I tend to get scared of doing yoga after a long time of not practicing because I feel like I'll have a hard time, or I'll get impatient and hate it because maybe my skills before have left me now and I'll wobble all over and quit. But that never happens with your video's. You always make me feel right at home and no matter what I do or don't do, the simple fact that you're proud of is, that I showed up. That is something that makes me feel so amazingly good about continuing my yoga practice. I'm going through a really tough time right now in terms of finishing school, trying to find out what to do for work, and figuring out whether the relationship that I'm in right now (and have been for 2 years) is toxic or not. Waking up in the morning every day and following your videos is really helping out a lot more than I initially believed. As a recovering drug addict, I decided to have a coffee today and as nice as it was, the caffeine was overwhelming and my anxiety kicked in. A critical voice within started up and began bullying me inside my own head. This is my anxiety. It was awful and the only thing I knew was that this yoga practice could help me. And it did! I am not going to lie, i almost started crying in today's practice. i graduate from college last year and have been working at Disney. I've been scared of taking that next step but when you said to just let go of what is holding you back and be bold with your life, I felt it inside of me. I am two days behind because of being sick, but it feels awesome to be back! I really cant thank you enough Adriene for doing this. Not only am I having a wonderful Me-Time every day, my back feels awesome (having troublesome back pain since childhood) and the breathing even makes it into my every day life, everytime when something seems stressful or troublesome, I remember my breathe and take a second, it really helps staying calm (anyone else do this? lol) Thank you again so much, a happy camper :D
