I decided to try yoga as I get a very stuff neck and very rarely relax. I'm on day 6 and noticed a difference already. Your videos are very easy to follow and your voice is very calming. Thank you for teaching me yoga in the comfort of my own home ☺️

lol I have zero flexibility so these videos are killer by the end. By far the best yoga teacher on KZbin. I do this to help counter my stiffness from power-lifting and it is starting to work!

I love this series, I feel like it's really accessible for genuine beginners. I think a lot of "beginner yoga" courses are aimed at people who have a good level of physical fitness but are new to yoga, whereas I think yours work for people who aren't used to doing much exercise!

My back feels like ground beef in a tube and my thighs independently tremble, but it doesn’t last long. By afternoon, I’ll be practicing form in front of a mirror and feeling through the moves I’ve learned. If it still hurts, I’m (we are) allowed to take a day off to recover and we should. It’s not all or nothing. That warrior pose kicked my butt, but I’m right back here anyway. I don’t want to quit. Actually, I can’t wait to start the 90 Day challenge next, but I wanna learn to stretch before I lunge. Rome wasn’t built in a day, ya know, and I’ve been sedentary for so long. Sis, I think I spend more time discussing yoga than doing yoga. I’m just so proud of myself for valuing it, like where has this been my whole life?!

I fell out of doing yoga for a few weeks while I was moving to a new place, and I felt like I had lost all of my flexibility. I started this challenge again to get myself back into the habit of everyday yoga, and it this class I finally felt like my muscles were starting to open up. Thanks so much Lesley! Lesley suggested that I do the 30 day challenge as a post-natal workout, to get back to my regular practice slowly. It's working great!! I started it a 6 weeks postpartum (vaginal birth, no complications). Thank you, Lesley!!!! I encourage everyone to donate to support her. :)

Lesley! I´ve been following this chanel since 2014 or 2015 (don´t know the exact date) while I was dealing with a very severe case of clinical depression. I was not even able to go out of my house, not even to buy groseries. I found you and I felt very supported and accompanied without you knowing me at all. Something around 4 or 5 years from that, I decided to begin an teacher's training course here in Mexico City in the Iyengar style. I have only two months in the course and I´ve already begin to have a small group of students. I did this beginner´s challenge back in the day and never thought I was going to come back to it but now, with a teacher´s point of view, analysing how did you tought me so I can transmit knowledge in a similar way. You have been such a huge inspiration for me and I'm forever thankful for your videos (and your entire existence, really). I hope one day after a lot of work, I can come to one of your courses and meet you face to face. After all, your videos were the first steps for me in a path to self-awarness, self-love and the will to help others just as you hepled and keep helping me. Depression is not gone at all, but now I have a pourpose and not even a severe mental illnes will stop me now. I send huge amounts of love and gratitude to you, Lesley. You are very descriptive, your quotes are meaningful, I can see the best intention behind your practice. I love that you have no need to show off advanced movements (in your elementary videos), the perfect body, clothing, and all stuff that disctracts viewers and end up discouraging people from the great intention of yoga practice. Leslie I enjoyed the class so much. When you did this class the first time I had to stop and pick and choose postures to get back to the 30days again. Today I made it to the 5th. And feel proud of myself for achieving this. I have learned to plot along slowly and at 68 I feel so much better for it. Thank you.

I've been wanting to get into yoga seriously for some time now, but have always shied away from formal classes because of my Cerebral Palsy. I feel like I would be out of place in a studio, or would simply complicate the job of a poor instructor due to my disability. However, with this video series I feel more confident--and I feel like I'm able to stick with doing yoga every day (even if it isn't in a class,) no matter how my hips or legs are feeling because I know that it is at a pace that I can keep up with, and I have the memory of the success of yesterday's progress in my mind to further motivate me. So, with that, I thought I'd say just how much I appreciate this beginner's challenge. Thank you!!

I've got CP (spastic dyplesia) and walked on my toes until I was 12 when I had my tendons lengthened. My calves are SO tight, so a lot of yoga and even just stretching in front of other people can be embarrassing ("Have you ever stretched before?" - People are rude!). So these videos are helping me build my confidence too!

I just finished day six of your challenge. I have for the last 3 months been struggling with chronic back pain. I have not felt as good as I do now for months. I am also almost able to touch my toes without bent knees, probably never been able to do that. Downward facing dog is almost natural for me. Thank you so much.

Found you during Coronavirus lockdown in the UK. I’ve been doing Pilates weekly for a couple of years but have been wanting to try yoga for a while. Have been enjoying the challenges on a daily basis. I’m doing it every morning as part of my new lockdown routine. I love the way your calm voice describes how to do each move and the way you suggest alternatives and support me as a complete beginner. I’ve ordered block to help me and am looking forward to progressing through the 30 days. Thanks for introducing me to yoga at home.

I always disliked yoga because my friends would drag me to classes that were too hard for me and too hard for them even... Anyway since I've started this beginners yoga I have actually really enjoyed it since it obviously is designed for beginners! I can't wait to keep going!

Thank you for these videos! I have fibromyalgia and do yoga to keep flexible, ease the pain and keep the blood flowing? I do each one until it feels reasonably easy, then move onto the next. The length and difficulty is just right for my aching joints and muscles.

Love the yoga the last spiritual stuff I could do with out... But you really need a these are the poses we are doing today thing at the beginning because you often feel rushed as a beginner and then following and doing it right is very difficult.
