The practices for Diastasis Recti has to be very light simple ones to begin with and slowly increased in intensity. Always take your gyneacologist's consent before the practice. The practices are:
- Abdominal breathing
- Kati Utttanasana
- Toe Tapping (variation of eka pada merudandasana)
- Supta Bhadrasana
- Cat Pose
- Pranayama

I am also diagnosed with same, and what about the tummy will it also get better if diastatis heel. I also diagnosed with hernia, so which exercise should be avoided.

It’s been a month iam doing this yoga at beginning I had 4 fingers and now I could see significant changes now it’s less than 2fingers, thank you mam, pls teach me yoga for thyroid and how to reduce the nodule in the throat

While searching about diastatis recti found this to be one of the simplest and best video so far. I have started doing this but i am 1.5 years post partum 😂😂Will this help after 1.5 years postpartum?

Uma, do your other workouts which goes along with our practice, sleep well and take care of nutrition, you will find wonderful results.

@@pranatva Thank you for your prompt reply. Honestly doing anything with a 1.5 year old with a 7 year old has been a challenge. Would really sppreciate if you could recommend other workouts since you mentioned? I have just started on this path and want to continue.

Mam i hardly have one finger gap but i am only practicing suryanamskar n it causing no problem to me but is it okay to do so?? Or still i need to do these core strengthening yoga asanas? Pls advise... also does suryanamskar helps healing Diasis recti?

Surya Namaskara alone won't help in core strengthening. Pls continue Surya Namaskara and other strengthening practices too.

Hi, anytime is ok provided you leave a gap of three hours from the earlier meal.

Mam 2 months before I undergone surgery. I had big belly bcoz of tiz recti .is it possible to lose my belly fat with tiz.

Hi, please do sufficient rest prescribed for the operation. After that along with the practice, if you have good diet and sleep, it will show good results 👍

Also, pls do a video on what asanas and pranayama to avoid during healing DR gap. Sometimes i experience lower back pain after doing yoga session.

Hi, it would take minimum two to three months of practice to show the results well. Practice min 30 minutes a day.

You should avoid sleeping, there must be an underlying cause for this. Try finding that out and act on it. Take care.

Could you pls suggest the progression exercises for healing DR? Im doing these exercises daily and my DR gap has closed significantly from 5 fingers to 3 fingers. Its been more than an year of practicing this daily & now im not seeing much changes. What should i do to see progress in my result?

Practice regularly. Have more of vitamin rich food like C, A and E. Reduce inflammation causing foods.

Six is severe, so takes time. Take proper care and do the practices regularly.
