Thank you so much! I just did this class in the morning and not only did I get my best standing splits, I also managed to touch down in front split on my good side at the first try - I usually need like 5 to 10 tries! Def will be doing this class more often!

Wow! I just finished this and to say I am blown away by what my body was able to do is an understatement! I recommend videotaping yourself doing this class so you can see your progress. I have been working on standing splits and regular splits and have been stuck. The difference in one 30 minute session is nothing short of wizardry 😊 I have also been babying a high hamstring injury but it wasn’t tweaked at all the way Cathy taught this class. I am happy dancing all over my house right now. Thank you, Cathy for these generous KZbin sessions! 🙏 What a blessing! You, and this class, are going in the #1 slot in my gratitude list tonight ❤️

This is hard lol but it's effective. Only done it 4 times, and I already see/feel a difference.

Not sure my standing leg split will ever look like that :) I like to call it standing leg raise when I teach, but this was a fun flow!

Ohh I like that title! I never ever ever thought I'd be able to do this pose and now I'm constantly amazed I can even do it with little warm up now. I realize not everyone can achieve any pose, but just wanted to share that I also never thought it was possible. Much love!

Great video! I'm really sorry but I have sound sensitivity and I find your mic SO distracting. Is it necessary to use a mic? I can hear it every time you swallow and every breath you take.

Hearing the directions and breathing is an important aspect of yoga practice. Most people want and need that. I would suggest you to mute your volume

@@user-su6zt2of2pI don’t want to speak for them but it seems more like they’re asking if the mic itself is necessary vs the need to talk. Maybe she could do it without the mic. I don’t have sensitivity but I agree it is distracting

Been doing this routine once a week or so for the last few months. Still have a long way to go, but I'm seeing some good results in my overall flexibility and ability to raise my legs.

When I tried the last variation, with my shoulder tucked under my knee, I couldn't get my shoulder really under there- I guess this position is similar to lizard and happy baby- would getting deeper in those positions help? Thanks!

It's definitely a deep variation. Yes those psoes will help! Also binds like bound warrior, bird of paradise and compose pose!
