I'm back at the point where I can do 20-25 minutes of this one on each side each day, still very far from where I was when I was in good health, but it is helping so much for my overall strength and flexibility! This "yoga lunge", sirshasana, padmasana and hanumanasana, they are all I do and they are helping me so much, these asanas are so fundamental!!

One thing I find difficult is to inhale properly during a backbend for example upward facing dog when for someone without a lot of flexibility in the back the effort of stretching usually results in a short inhale or even holding the breath for a few seconds. I would appreciate tips of maybe a video about how to breath when in a more "unconfortable" position. Thanks for everything Kino.

Hi Kino, thank you for the beautiful demonstration. May I ask why it is not recommended to do a back bend backwards in the lunge position but rather upwards? Thank you!

Thx Kino! But please answer my first Q, after I put my hand on the side the other hand cant go much beyond my head...what poses/exercises would help to achieve that! U r an inspiration! Thx

Dear Kino, Why did you stop uploading your amazing podcast? I always hear them when I practice yoga, it makes me feel like I'm in the classes with you guys and helped me so much Please upload some more cause I've heard them all. Sadly Where I live, we dont have a lot of good yoga classes. Thanks again, I live in Dubai btw =).

Kino, Many Thx for doing such videoes! I cant bring my shoulder/hand as much as u show here when ur one hand is on the side on the ground...any suggestions for the shoulders??? Also u say not to be in childs pose too long if continuing the practice, any reason to that?Usualy after a backbend isnt it good to do a fwd bend?

this is great! I tend to pinch my lower back in back bending postures. could opening the pelvis like this help to lengthen my lower back in these poses?

namaste Kino, I tried this ex and is pretty harder than it looks!!! but very effective for elongating psoas and piriforme, and creating space in the sacrum. in fact even if I have a quite flexible back, when I perform kapotasana in the last period, I feel pressure in the sacrum, Now I'm putting this ex before Kapotasana in interm, series (in home practice) and actually I feel more ready, I just hope that this disconfort will go soon, have u ever had this feeling? thank u for sharing knoledge :)

I am laughing at this because I was recently asked in an obscure way to do some foot fetish work. I know thats not what was meant but it made me laugh anyway. Speaking of your feet though...I have always been under the impression that allowing your knee to pass your feet was dangerous for the knee. Can you explain this to me? Your knee extends further..but is it okay in this position?
