Kino, your attention to alignment is second to none. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Clearly my tilt to the side when I try to square the hips means I'm not quite open enough for this one. I have been trying to get authentic advice on this for months. (Thank you!) I will use your 'Passive Stretch to Open Your Hips' video to work on opening myself up there.

There are so many people in the comments wishing they were more flexible. Please think about this: I can go in deep backbends like this and do other weird things without warming up or practicing... but in every Asana I have to work backwards, even in Tadasana so that my knees are not overflexing. This is really hard and sometimes dangerous for the joints. Please be happy with your body, the flexibilty will come. Appreciate your stability and the fact, that you are naturally stronger than flexible persons. We allways want everything that we dont have... with a lot of practice we can meet in the middle.

For the record I am very happy with my body,progress,and personal practice and feel no need to be corrected by anyone who assumes that I am approaching my practice with impatience or ego. frankly I find that insulting and rude

Beautiful! I always have problems with grabbing my foot and then rotating the shoulder. You help my postures so much.

Dear Kino didi , in ek pada raja kapotsana , do v HV to do back tilt of pelvic muscles and loosen our back OR do v HV to do tail bone tuck in ..? M very confused , as after practicing for 2 months I got lower back pain.....My hip was not square so I got I.think . Do v hv to bend back from ribcage? Please reply. Very much thank u mam

Well this is a question..in case the pelvis is not straight and we are feeling uncomfortable in keeping it straighht it is advisable to avoid practising this? I get knee pain while doing this and I'm unable to keep my pelvis and hips straight

I'm going to keep practice wrists are really tight, especially on the left side, and back is stiff even though I have a good back bend. Any tips?

My back bends well but my shoulders do not rotate like you do in this video. Can you please suggest some exercise/posture that will help. Thanks

I had the same problem a few months back about the rotation of the shoulder.. Just watched her clips on how she rotated her shoulder, and you'll get it one day.. that's what I did.. I watched and practice for many months on the rotational shoulder exercise.. and it came to me one day.. now, am able to do it slowly... :)

***** Thanks for your reply. You are a girl and girls generally have less tight shoulders. I am a guy who did a lot of gym weights for 6-7 years and have good bulk muscle mass. I have been told to lose the muscle mass. I am not sure if that is indeed a precondition. If it took you many months, I think it will take me many years. I am looking for exercises that might accelerate the process.
