15 Min Guided Mindfulness Meditation For Being Present - Daily Stress & Anxiety Relief - YogaCandi

Welcome to this quick 15-minute mindfulness meditation. Use it daily to help cope with stress and anxiety and to help that monkey mind slow down and stay present. This meditation is a wonderful tool to use as part of a journey towards higher consciousness and increased presence, to help you on the path towards mindful living. I recommend reading a spiritual/ mindfulness book before doing this daily meditation practice.
I recommend doing this meditation for at least 30-days to really feel its benefits, but continue doing it for as long as you like. This Meditation consists of:
* 5-minutes of deep conscious breathing whilst I repeat ⬇️
- RELAX, STAY PRESENT (inhale)
- LET GO OF YOUR THOUGHTS (Exhale)
* Then 5-minutes of AUM (OM) chanting - you can either listen and allow the ethereal sounds to wash over you or chant alongside me feeling the deep healing vibrations within.

Thank you so much Candi, this was wonderful! I usually have trouble changing my habits and I've been wanting to start a regular meditation practice for a few years, but haven't done it. So I decided to not do the book reading + meditation for now, as that would be two new habits for me. Instead I am tagging it after my daily yoga asana practice (which is already an established habit) so I did that today - it was my first day and I loved it! Doing the physical practice first helped me feel more comfortable and not want to fidget or move during the meditation. For my personal breath rhythm, the first part was too fast - but I simply adjusted it by taking an inhale on "relax, stay present, let go of your thoughts" and same thing for the exhale (so at half the speed) and that worked great for me :) I'll do my best to stick to 30 days of this meditation... Will keep you updated in the comments! And good luck to everyone starting a meditation practice!

Ohhh this is where my challenge lies.. I started off great then I got a bit antsy itchy I couldn't stay still.. I breathed into the discomforts and exhaled them out...deeeeeeeeep breath innnnn deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath out.. Help meeeee💫💫💫💫💫

There was too much repitition on the voice about the same thing over and over to make it relaxing. Hope to see improvements on future videos.
