Yin yoga should be a part of all dosha's practice. It's not as passive as folks think. For Vata, it provides slowing down and centering. For Pitta, it helps to cool the body and release physical tension. For Kapha, it grounds and restores.

According to vedic shastra and bhagavad gita , it is incorrect to say yoga came after ayurveda. Both are part of bonafide scriptures. Ayurveda addresses conscious and healtgy living based on each body type. It provides a path to move in the mode goodness and the goal of yoga is the union with the supreme.while west thinks of yoga as physical exercise and breathing only. Yoga , according to gita goes beyond that . For more details, you can read the scriptures at www.vedabase.io
