After having a sleepless night having a sore arm after booster jab yesterday here in UK, my thoughts were , well, i’m 73, at my age , I could miss one yoga practice. But when I read some of the truly inspirational replies from some amazing people on this forum, I decided to work through todays session carefully. So glad I did, I feel amazingly - still got sore arm, but that will ease. You brave people have humbled and inspired this older lady to continue yoga with Adrienne that I have been doing over more than 6 years. Love and hugs and blessings to all out there 💕🙏x

I too had my booster jab yesterday, also in UK, and this practice what just what was needed this morning. I am just a few years younger than you, Shirley, and so benefit from Adriene's practices. It's great that us older yogis can encourage each other. Thank you, Adriene, for another spot-on practice. You are truly a gift to us. Love and namaste xx 😘

Haven’t practiced in a over a year because I associated it with being a chore 😢 Turned it on today because I was tired of feeling broken and upset,, I wept because I missed the feeling of tuning into the inner way that I feel and healing myself. Yoga is life changing and truly is an essential piece of learning to love yourself ❤ Thanks a million xo namaste 🙏

As someone who has struggled with depression for almost four years, I'm trying to live day by day with no rush- just taking moment by moment. Yoga with Adrienne is such a big part of it! I used to wake up so sad, and anxious about living one more time like "it's not gonna work, it never does" but now, I wake up better bc the only first thing I need to do is yoga, and I love it so much 💓

You are so not alone. I have been “managing” severe depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. Adriene has helped me so much as well. So has everyone in the YWA community 💚. I know that there’s nothing I can do to help, but maybe knowing you are not alone might feel less lonely tomorrow morning.

As an adult survivor of childhood abuse and trauma in the UK, with crippling mental health challenges, I still rock up to the mat each day before my working day begins; thus, setting the intention for body, and mind. I was a sceptic before, but now, I am plant-based, given up alcohol and caffeine, and whilst my existence is still marred by catastrophic damage, I can live, work, create, and deserve my place on Mother Gaia. Thank you, Adriene, and the global yogic community xxx

Man, the amount of times Adriene has made me cry 💓 we’re all here for the same thing, in search of self:) we all struggle with similar fears, constant changes put us out of our comfort zone. We must remind ourselves that we made the choice to be here, we made the choice to click on this video, we made the choice to do better for ourselves. We must find the solace in the choices we make-good or bad, it’s all okay:)

I have not treated my body very respectfully recently, and my spirit has been suffering because of it. When I embraced myself with you, I repeated back to myself, "You are safe. You are in a good place. This is good for your body." I cried. Never have I been so grateful for the gift of my body as I have today. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me on my journey of healing.

I didn't know I needed this practice until today...When Adriene said "feel your own embrace, whatever that means to you" I started crying. Oh, Adriene, I thank you. I've been doing your videos for several years and I can easily say this is one of the most powerful ones yet. I will be putting my 19 year old cat down later this week. I cried for more than half of this video. Actual full on waterfalls rolling down my cheeks. I didn't even try to hold back - I just let go. This video released so much of the tension I've been carrying these past few weeks. I'm so scared for the weeks to come because I know I'll never be the same. I'm not ready to meet this new version of myself. I thank you for your love and comfort and support. Your videos have been with me for years and I know I am going to turn to them THE MOST for the next while.

Aw I’m so sorry! Having to put down a pet is the absolute worst. But hey, 19, you’ve given that kitty a great long life. Have you looked into at home euthanasia? It’s a bit more expensive but you can have a vet come to your home so they’re comfortable, then you can have time with them. Just a thought, it’s what I plan to do with both of mine 🥺😭 I hope the day isn’t too too horrible, you have a stranger sending good vibes lol

I hope your cat goes to a beautiful place where he/she gets all the love and happiness just like the happiness that you have given him/her when with you. I've had a super stressful week, and woke up this morning feeling sore, and tired, and wasn't sure I was going to do my routine yoga at all... But I decided instead I'd skip ahead on the Blossom calendar to a lighter video that was more on the level I'm able for today. So glad I did! For anyone checking the comments to see if this is something they're able for today, (like I was!) this one is good. No strain on the arms or back if you're tired. Almost entirely seated. I didn't break a sweat, but I did feel lighter and refreshed, and pleased for having made it to the mat even if it wasn't for the practice scheduled for today in the calendar! I'll swap around and right things in the coming days. Isn't finding what serves what it's all about, after all?

I too rearranged the calendar a bit to find what feels good (and fits with my schedule). I'm back on the printed schedule as of today, because I really value the knowledge that I am practicing with other people at the same time when we can't be in the same room. But reading these comments, it warms my heart to see so many of us here a few days early, a few days late ... even when I'm by myself, I'm never practicing alone

I've had a hard day physically and mentally, and the breathing and centering at the beginning of this yoga practice made me cry and helped me release a lot of the negative feelings I've been having, then the stretches helped ease some of my aches. I don't say this enough but I am very thankful for this practice and this community.

I'm currently on placement as a student physiotherapist and have been doubting my ability to care for patients and their bodies. Really what I have been craving is nourishment for myself and to trust my instincts and capabilities. After a long commute home today I treated myself to some food at a restaurant called 'Nourish'. When I got home I decided to treat my body with some YWA and funnily enough this nourishment practice was exactly the gentle, mindful replenish that I needed. Thank you, Adriene!

i'm here on my 500th day of daily yoga practice. i never could have imagined when i started that i would still be going strong 500 days later! thank you so so so so so much, adriene. your videos have probably been about 490 out of the 500 days haha, although i did make it to my very first public class just yesterday! thank you for making me feel comfortable enough to take that step outside of my comfort zone and for being such an incredible presence in my life over the last 500 days. here's to 500 more!!

I love how each new practice feels like it’s just made for me as it always seems to come at the perfect moment, but then seeing how many people have felt the same way. It’s a beautiful moment of recognising that whilst we are different, that we are so similar and can all share this experience together, as cliched as that is!

Have been without yoga for about 6 months and have been going through a ton of stress the past couple of weeks. Sat down for this one and cried solidly for probably the first 10 minutes. Feel the best I have I awhile and realizing how dysfunctional I've made myself. Glad to be back in it again.

I found Adriene while trying to escape the grip of anxiety and panic. Her videos have been a HUGE help for me since my panic attacks came back with a vengeance in 2020. Thank goodness for awesome humans like Adriene!

I just learned that one of my teacher from ten years ago told my friends I was weak and would basically never achieve my goals. Even if I am now happy and professionally fulfilled, it hurt my feelings. So when Adriene asked us to "say one loving kind thing to yourself", I said "I am brave and strong" and my eyes watered. This practice was exactly what I needed today, thank you Adriene

I know this is an old video, but I thought it was worth it to say how greatful I am for today's practice. I had a tough time with my ADHD last night & was finding it hard to take care of myself. I didn't realise how much I just needed a bit of kindness and love for myself. This was really therapeutic for me & it proved to myself that I can slowly, but surely start to care for myself again 🥰

I started at the end of last school year (end of June) with the original 30 days and continued practicing through the rest of the summer. I was worried that when the new school year started I would say to myself that I was too busy to continue practicing. But I'm happy to say that I've kept going by completing yoga camp and revolution during Sept and Oct. Now I'm continuing with Nov playlist. Adriene, your lightness and random interjections bring a laugh that I sometimes need at the end of a frustrating day. Your encouragement keeps me coming back and has provided a sanctuary. Each day, I am reminded that the 15-60 min a day I take to dial into my breath help me to restore and reset. I'm feeling grateful for finding the channel (even if I'm late to the party).

I feel lately that although I’m grateful for my life I struggle to feel the rush of joy I used to experience when I was younger. During this practice I felt overwhelmed with joy and then very emotional. My spine and shoulders must have really needed this. Thank you Adriene, I really loved this.

Thank you Adrienne, I am also working thru depression, PTSD after ending a 30 year emotional rollercoaster marriage. I was feeling really tight this morning, which I thought was due to the activities of the past few days (work, studying at my desk), so I was looking for a full body stretch video, but saw this one and decided to give it a chance, and it turns out that this practice was exactly what I needed ♥ As Adriene always says, everything is connected and it turns out that it was more than just my muscles that were tense, so thank you for this nourishing practice~

Life has been a little heavy recently. There is a lot happening and I've felt like I'm treading water with weights around my feet. This morning I had really tense PMS in my body which of course threw panic on any grasp I had of the tough things in my life. This practice could not have been better. I smiled and almost laughed when we were quickly spinning. I felt the tension in my middle slowly evaporate. My body settling and my panic dissolving. I left the practice in peace with a warm hug from Adriene and this community. Thank you for being my sanctuary over all these years. I offer my heart to anyone suffering right now. The brightest days follow the darkest nights. 🖤

I 'accidentally' chose this practice, the same one as I did about 4 days ago. I found it extra nourishing, was able to deepen the movement.. Now I plan to repeat/revisit videos more often. Namaste!

I started yoga this year to help with my mind and body. Last month my back started to play up again and then I got sick so I couldn't do much and I really missed it. First day back with this video and it's really given me what I need to keep going. Thank you xx

This was beautiful and so needed. I had been feeling sad-not exactly sure why, but it was strong. I felt led to this video and it allowed me the space and the safety to just let my sadness (and then fear, and then a little anger) to just flow through and dissipate. I’m so grateful for you, Adriene. Thank you for creating these countless safe spaces for hundreds and thousands to heal all over the world.

I haven’t practiced any yoga for nearly a year and have been feeling very demotivated and reluctant to start again. This morning I woke up feeling under the weather and something made me decide to do yoga. I’m so glad I did. Afterwards I felt amazing and I was reminded why I love yoga so much. This was a lovely gentle re entry to yoga for me and I’m going to try very hard to get back to my daily practice going forward. Thank you Yoga With Adriene x

I feel like whenever Adrienne says "your shoulder will tense up here" or "make sure not to crunch your neck", my body is doing exactly that. The reminders bring me back. This practice felt so smooth and easy. Each progression felt like just what my body wanted and needed. Thank you!

I’ve been practicing with you for many years, and it’s always a pleasure. I just want to say about this practice - thank you for honouring your neighbour doing his singing practice! We musicians (especially singers) have had such a rough time with covid working from home, and many people not being willing to understand that we need to work as well, and it’s ok that that work is music making. Thank you for being you. That little moment of positive understanding was really special for me, really made my day. 💖💖

Such a beautiful practice! I haven't practiced in more than 2 months because I just couldn't make myself to show up. Today I felt like unrolling my mat and just try to "move". I felt so emotional on that part where you said something like: say one thing kind, loving to yourself today. Thank you so much, Adriene!

I shall go mindfully through the calendar as I am still battling with the arthritis big time, but advice is keep exercising, but we don’t want to meet in desperation on Day 9 !!!!!😳🥺 I’ll likely swap the full class 40 mins ones for some cozy yoga 🤔🤗😃👍 we’ll see how i am 😊 I’m a bit late up for today’s but here goes 🤞💕

@@gillsmith6740 go mindfully sounds like a very wise plan. It’s so hard to know when to rest it and when to work it. I’m so sorry that the flare up is more like a flare season. I know that you’ve said many times that moving is better than not moving, and you are so good at meeting your edge. I think I’ll join you in cozy corner this month. I’m still recovering from the mindless zombie practice. I’m sending healing thoughts to that shoulder in particular and the rest of you as well 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Adriene, thank you. I’ve been doing your videos off and on for years, but after a miscarriage over the summer, I turned to yoga to help me trust my body again and to heal my heart. I did Revolution and Dedicate back-to-back and was halfway through Home when I learned I was pregnant again. Then that first trimester fatigue started and I had to stop. I’m entering my second trimester and am starting to get some energy back and I wanted to rejoin you on the mat. I was so happy to find your prenatal yoga tips on your website (I told my husband that I should’ve known you would have guidance for moms-to-be because you’re just that amazing). I did this practice over the weekend as a way to ease back in. My goal is to keep at it and to join the 30 days in January. Thank you for sharing the gift of yoga with us and for giving me a safe place to land during a very low point for me. I (and baby) are eternally grateful. 💜

Day 24 of Delight ❤ Oh God did I need this! My legs feel like cement and heavy! 😭 Every time I lift my lefs, it feels like I am lifting 20kgs dead weight. Leg day was evil! Thank you for this kind practice! ❤

I used to practice all the time with your videos. I got super into daily yoga. I felll off for a few years. I kept trying to start over with the 30 days practice. I could never stick to it. Yesterday I began again this time with a bedtime yoga and today I did this practice. I love the new moves. My body told me I’m not at the beginning. I am learning to be where I am now. Namaste

I always enjoy this one, and today I found extra benefit as the elbow soreness that has plagued me all week seems to have mostly disappeared during those twists left and right (when we had our fingers on our shoulders). Blossom day 25. 509 days in a row.

Wow this really was such a beautiful practice. I genuinely came out of it with a significantly increased level of self-love! When I said namaste back to Adrienne at the end, I felt it so strongly that “the awesome in me salutes the awesome in you” - as equals, for now I know I have something just as equally wonderful as Adriene does. I've been out of action for the past couple of weeks due to lower back pain and I felt so "out of sync" unable to do yoga. Today, I eased back into it with this lovely new practice. Due to my anxiety, I was advised by my doctor to try regular yoga. He does yoga and watches your videos, too. Although I was sceptical at first, it has greatly helped me. I enjoy doing yoga at night, and your videos always help me relax. ❤️
