I notice a theme often in the comments that I was having a bad day or something awful happened and this yoga practice brought me back to myself. Well this is true of me today, but I am also noticing how often my daily yoga practice occurs when I have had an okay, or unnoteworthy day and it just helps ground and center me anyways. Thank you adriene and thank you to everyone here in this community for creating this space and showing up no matter what the day. My word today is grace.

This is my first practice as I begin my journey anew after pausing since May when I lost my mother. I tried to keep going back then but lost my momentum and eventually gave myself permission to take a break. Releasing my hips in the deep lunge brought up tears. I felt a release of trapped grief overwhelm me. It was nice to acknowledge it and continue to move. I truly needed this. Thanks Adriene.❤

So good that you are feeling like doing yoga again after a necessary pause @sjcmmd. I can totally relate. My yoga practice has been rocky - after some 5-6 yrs of practicing twice a day which I need to be able to keep moving despite severe injuries - since both my parents died within 5 months, in 2021. I have managed to come back on track during the 30 days challenges in January but has then lost momentum again and only practiced once a day which is not enough for me. Especially when the practice is less than 20 minutes. I am making a fresh start today, for some special reasons, and I am sure this morning practice was given to me by the universe. I am so grateful 🙏 Let us get back into good yoga routines together! I wish you a good re-start of yoga @sjcmmd and I hope you are now moving out of the deepest grief into more of light again 🌟 Adriene, thank you sincerely for all you do for us! I sometimes try another yogi, and they might be good, but I keep coming back Home to you, to find what feels good 💖

What a refreshing morning practice! Over the past couple of months, I noticed that my practice had changed. Instead of focusing on speed or core workouts, I prefer to focus on enhancing my mind-body connection and also relieving any stiffness and stress. Back to the fundamentals of yoga, I respect my emotions and most importantly myself by moving my body with awareness. Thanks a lot for the energy boost. Love and light 💖✨

I practice almost daily with you and all the beautiful people lucky enough to realize the mind and body benefits of the consistent practice of yoga. I had struggled with anxiety, depression and intermittent lower back pain for years and the only time my back gives me trouble is when I miss a few days of yoga. My flexibility is amazing now. As someone who suffers with extreme severe anxiety I can totally relate to her. I would stop eating for days at a time as a punishment. I worry a lot about my life, everyone around me and pleasing everyone. It's absolutely crippling, so glad she got the help she needed, lovely young lady it's so sad that society has 1 in 3 people suffering mental health issues. I hope everyone seeks help

Wow! that Morning mobility practice went so quickly. I came to the mat today, sore and stiff with my hips screaming for some love. And wow what love they got. Over the summer I got into the habit of daily yoga, but September saw me starting my Master's degree, and I have not made time for yoga since. This morning I woke up feeling I needed to practice today, and when I opened youtube this was the first video on my feed. I cried a lot during this practice. I've been following Adriene and Benji for almost 4 months now. Initially, my intention was to feel connection towards someone who no longer was a part of my life who loved to stretch. Now, every time I step on to the mat, I feel more consciously aware of my breath and feel the nourishment of my practice so much more intensely with each of my poses. I used to be obsessed with improving my flexibility, even if it meant putting undue strain on my body. Now I find peace with where I am at in my practice and feel happy with my path towards getting to know more about my body trough it. Theank you so so much Adriene!

In the most uncreepy way watching you are so calming… It’s like a fireplace in the cabin of Aspen Colorado. I don’t watch you very often, and I’ve never done yoga while watching you, though I wish I knew and understood more… And had the space because I live in a tiny home. But it just dawned on me that I think I’ve been following you for six heck maybe eight years have you been on? Half dozen over all these years… And this one is the first one I’ve watched since the pandemic…. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better yoga instructor. You have such poise, and instruction, and the way you make everyone feel like they’re present…. and so much more… Just such a talented person you are.

The mornings are achey times for me and this new practice was exquisite! It was the best combination of stretch and bend. This was so perfect. I have a neurological condition that causes dizziness, vertigo, disequilibrium nausea, and blackouts with a lot of floor to standing positions. I had been looking for floor work that really felt impactful but didn’t exacerbate my symptoms. Saving this one! TY so much Adriene!
