It's only taken me 20 years, but I have finally found my perfect yoga instructor. Thank you Bird for helping this world feel like a better place. I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects the left side of my body. Basically my brain and left limbs don't communicate as they should so I struggle with my poses, my flexibility, my coordination and my balance. It's a neurological disorder, which means that it cannot get better. Exercising doesn't hurt and it is good, as long as you are listening to your body. In spite of my challenges I don't give up and I carry on. I love Iyengar yoga and your practices remind me of it. This 30 day journey will hopefully help my flexibility; thank you very much for recommending the use of props.

I would like to improve my hip, groin and thigh flexibility so that I can do Supta Baddhakonasana, among others, and to improve my lower back flexibility so that I can do Dandasana (among others). I just did this and I'm sooo glad that i found your channel. There is no crazy poses, where I fall like 300 times doung it. Also I love those 5 min at the end where you can lay and do nothing, just be aware of your body and breath. Thank you

Just did this today. I am only slightly more flexible than wooden planks and I did it! It's embarrassing to me how inflexible I am so I would never go to an in person class, so many thanks for this entry series I can do at home!

Just starting this. I am absolutely inflexible to the point I can't do the downward dog and couldn't find a proper video for the truly inflexible. Happy to be starting this journey. Hopefully this helps me get better.

Hi, I discovered your channel just yesterday and fell in love immediately. Your voice is calming, the pace is slow which I enjoy. I did some of your 10 minutes yoga stretches before bed and it made me feel the most relaxed I`ve ever been. I had a stressful day and your video helped me focus on myself and treat myself physically and mentally good. Today I was looking forward doing some of your yoga routines and I came across this 30 day challenge and all I have to say is that it's amazing. Can't wait to do the next days routines. I finally have something to hold on to, because I tend to fall out of routines quickly and stay unproductive/lazy, which puts me into depressive episodes. Thank you for this. May God bless you.

I’ve been stiff my entire life, at age 28 I’m trying to change that with yoga. Excited to start your course! I was laying flat on my back and my arms above my head and they were just dangling in the air, couldn’t touch the ground. I was like wow, Mr. Super Stiff

Thank you so much for this Video! 💚🙏 I had completely given up on yoga after trying so many videos and getting discouraged in the first few moments because I can't sit cross legged without pain. But your tip of just sitting higher and putting pillows under the knees helped so much! Your gentle, encouraging voice and your advice to do everything in my own rhythm of breathing was perfect. I always get so distracted and stressed out when the teacher tells me every time I should breathe 😅 Anyways, thank you so much, I am motivated to go through all the other videos of the series as well and gently improve my flexibility :)

Hi! thank you for this! I have an injured and aging spine. the last part, laying on my back was so relaxing that I didn't realize my left hip was becoming stuck(?). I finally, and gently rolled my legs into my chest and was able to roll over on my side to get up. Any suggestions? I really want to become more flexible and get some movement into my body. Particularly my back, legs and hips. So I want to stick with this 30 days. Thank you again! You are so lovely.

The Young Yogi I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see the island fresh cafe! It opened shortly after I had left but I’m sure it’s incredible. When I was there it was a lovely cafe for smoothies, snacks and sandwiches ran by a really kind man and his wife. I think they even held live performances right in that little noon ❤️🤗

I practically have zero lateral hip mobility, which implies that sitting in cross-legged position is undoable for me. Best I can do is sit knees together not above 90° of flexion.

Also I can't breathe when in prone position (belly faces ground) and even when bending forward. I'm not obese at all, but as a wind instrument player, breathing is a big part of my technique.
