I’m so happy you enjoyed this class. We all begin at the inflexible stage and in order to progress on our flexibility journey we must find creative ways to help us access each pose. I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed this class ❤️❤️

The normal stretch routines I do in tkd class aren't working for me. Your instruction helps me alot. After 4 videos, my stiffness is freed up. With this kinda training, I can progress. I appreciate your classes bird, thank you

Welp Bird ya got me! First time I’ve ever come back for day 2 of Yoga, or even made it through a full video for that matter. I think I might have also found my favorite pose to be the nap-I MEAN child pose and totally not because I fell asleep and had to restart the video. Thanks again Bird!!! See you tomorrow? Maybe? Who knows I’ve got some serious yoga commitment issues.

Actually this is my third day in this journey. On the first day though I watched a yoga for beginner from another channel but then I switched to yours. There’s nothing wrong with the prev, yours just feels more right for me, if that even makes sense (please don’t judge me 😅). And to be honest, your soothing voice makes my lesson even more relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for your great videos

Thank you for creating this series. I have injured my lower back so often that everything hurts now. I usually rush through the recovery and therapy part of healing that I become frustrated and stop it all. Right now I can barely move around without aids (chair, table, walls and countertops). I am on day 2 of your videos and my only expectation is to be in the flow of breath and movement and allow my body to receive the energy. I am looking forward to each day as it comes. TY

I know it’s been a while- but it’s to rest. You need to rest in between some stretches or else you’ll get hurt.

Just started this Yoga Journey....I am not flexible at all and suffering from frozen shoulder too. Hope this helps me. Feeling good after day 1!!!!

Forgot to do this one yesterday and I really felt it in my quality of sleep, I just didn't feel as relaxed and I'm glad I did it in the morning now :) Thank you, Bird

Day 2 ✅. Not going to lie the thread the needle pose and one leg over the other was a bit of a challenge for me. Looking forward to Day 3. 👍

Those poses can definitely feel intense! Be sure to use as many pillows as you need in the supine twist (one leg over the other pose) you could even place a pillow or folded blanket under the shoulder of the leg that’s crossed over. So if you’re crossing the left leg over to your right, place a pillow or folded blanket under the left shoulder. This will lesson the twist ❤️❤️

I have super sore knees. Staying in any sort of table kneeling position is really difficult for me. Can I place pillow under my knees? Loving this so far!

Hey Bird, Thanks! My back hurted during the stretches around 24:49. Am I doing something wrong? I could do it only by lifting my arm from the mat.

Try modifying by placing a pillow or folded blanket as high as you need under the shoulder that lifts for example if your right leg crosses over to the left place the pillow or elevation under the right shoulder/backside. This will lessen the twist. Also place more pillows under your knee that’s crossed over. You must do what’s best for your body. Yoga should never hurt. At most you should feel a stretch nothing more and that’s for you to determine and make the connection to. If this pose still hurts after modifying just stay away from it. Try a twist that you enjoy better. 💗

Hi Bird, do you have a substitute for Child's pose? No amount of blankets, bolsters, pillows, or couch-cushion fort construction has made this a viable pose for me. I am challenged with back pain and an abundant waist. In the past, I have sat on a couple of bolsters and worked on my breathing while others in the class were in Child's pose. Any thoughts? Have you tried wide legs instead of knees together? With the addition of props. If it’s still not comfortable the pose may just not be for you. It’s important to know that not every pose will be ok for everyone as our skeletal structures are all so unique and will not allow for certain poses. This could be the reason. Or you simply need to work on flexibility. Differentiate the sensation of a stretch and compression. If you feel compression then child’s pose may not be for you. And that’s ok. Do something that feels better.

@@YogaWithBird I tried the above link and signed up BUT it says "You signed up for the 30 days... beginning August 1". Not good -- today is June 7 and I'm ready for Day 2 tomorrow morning! I'll do it manually. I really liked Day 1 so not a biggie (but worth fixing).

Modify if you feel pain or compression. You can place a pillow between your knees and heels and also under your torso for added support. You should only feel a gentle stretch ❤️❤️

I have to say, the one where I needed to put my right knee over my left leg seemed impossible to me, my leg was literally standing in the air. Also I felt like my male parts were in the way, oops... Other than that, great content, peaceful and beginner friendly.
