Thank you for your wonderful videos! I have found this routine, in conjunction with your routines for the trapezius muscles, neck and mid back, highly beneficial for my posture. What they have highlighted is that I have also have significant tightness in my Rhomboids. Unfortunately I have been unable to find anything effective for stretching them. I would dearly like it if this could be the subject of a future video. Many thanks once again for your videos and all that they have done for me!

I have been searching for something like this for so long!! I have super tight shoulders and chest and while I want to do Uttanasana I am only able to hold my hands behind my back but have never gotten them away from my butt/back. This feels so good and was exactly what I need to slowly get to my goal. Subscribed for the first time ever. Love posture work and feel amazing after this. Thank you!

Great question Iris, I think most of us need to work harder to improve our posture with all this hunching forwards we always do. You’re awesome. I love this video!!! I deal with a lot of muscle tightness somehow, used to feel great but since an injury it hit me really good, esp with age. But this actually helps. Hi, Joelle! I love your videos. My question is: can you explain any type of modifications for how to do these, when one is unable to sit in a lotus or crossed leg position? I found myself struggling to not fall over when doing these! You mentioned maybe using a chair - is there any other techniques that you would recommend? Thank you!

Great question - as you mentioned, sitting in a chair is a wonderful modification for many of these stretches, as is simply sitting on a thick cushion or rolled-up blanket, if that's enough height for you. Bottom line: just find a comfortable seated position that works for you!
