This is the first time that I have tried yoga. This routine felt so good, as I have been dealing with a lot of pain because of my hunchback. I look forward to continue practicing. Thanks for making this video!

Love the 20 minute target area videos. Each morning I can chose to work on whatever area of my body that is bothering me. Your cues are easy to follow. Please keep doing what you’re doing….so helpful with my home practice….thanks

I just want to say thank you. I'm 16 with severe back pain and shoulder problems, but who also can't follow extremely fast-paced lessons due to dizziness when I stand up too quickly. This is really the first yoga lesson I've gotten all the way through and was able to keep up with. So far, even after just one day, I'm feeling a bit better. Thank you so much!

My back is hunch slightly i tried many yoga videos but this is very effective yoga poses it really work for me thanks alot dear joelle .pls make next video on straighten arm cause my arm is slightly curved arm not touching to ground.

Thank you so much for your kindness to help. I am a 68 year old woman. I was recently diagnosed with scoliosis and kyphosis. Do you have any healing stretches that can be done either sitting in a chair or standing? It is painful for me to lay on a mat. I appreciate your help so much. ⚘️

Great job Beth! Quite a few of these moves could be adapted to be done in a chair or standing - for this one, you could start out standing with your back against a wall, basically replacing the floor with the wall to help you straighten your back. Once we move to seated, you can take those in a chair. I don't think I've got any practices for the upper back that are exclusively seated or standing, but there are certainly some great modifications that can be done for just about every pose, so feel free to ask about any in particular :)

Hi Kathleen, while I can't really advise on your specific situation, I do have quite a few practices focused on the lumbar area, so I'd suggest having a look to see if something there could help you out. Good Morning Joelle. I am working with a chiropractor to help me re adjust my spine. I am aware of some costocondritis in my chest. Will these stretches help with that issue?

In the very first exercise, he tightness in my shoulders, or perhaps bend of my back, does not allow my hands to reach the floor above my head, or when I bring my elbows out perpendicularly. They remain about 6-8" above the floor. I assume I just continue doing what I can without straining??

That's very common, you're not alone! And yes absolutely, don't strain but rather go to the point where you feel a good stretch and your shoulders allow you to go without forcing anything. You can also try bringing your arms into more of a V shape (rather than straight overhead in an I shape) and you may be able to get closer to her floor that way. Great job!!

That's a tricky one for many people! It requires a fair amount of strength openness in the shoulders, which comes with time and practice. But the fact that you're here and commented means you're motivated to get there!
