im 19 with chronic back/neck/shoulder pain due to minor scoliosis as well as pursuing a creative career which involves lots of hunching over draft papers i was really beginning to believe i would simply live out the majority of my life constantly in pain. i’ve been doing yin daily (this video is one of the favorites i come back to a lot) and have been THANKFULLY proven wrong. my pain has decreased SO much- thank you thank you for providing these free lessons you’re literally changing lives!!!

This one is the best. Since menopause a lot of stiffness left side upper back and shoulder , with accompanying nerve pain, all stress related apparently....this practice releases it completely. Feeling so relaxed and loose in the upper back now. Thank you Kassandra 🙏

Just a suggestion for neck tension. I suffer from frequent tension headaches as well and I came across a video on “nerve flossing” from a different teacher (not sure if Kassandra has a similar one) but I gotta say it really cleared up one of my headaches. Just something else to try when you’re looking for pain relief. I believe the channel with the video that helped me was called Our Echo yoga or something similar. Kassandra is my favorite all around tho! Consistently great classes. This one was just what I needed today.

Thank you for this practice, I really enjoyed it. Everytime I am practicing with you I think I should do this more often! During the child's pose when you have your chin on the mat I put down my forehead on a block. This helps to melt down without streching my neck to far. Hope this comment helps for those with less mobility in their neck.

As I've progressively balanced my chakras, I'm starting to notice more shoulder, back, and stomach tension. I don't know what it was about this practice, but it made me feel energized. I cleaned the fridge (a task that was loooong overdue) and started working towards an online certification. Will have to add this to the regular rotation!
