They had MT+ and it was one of the most civilized mud tires ever that performed without the usual on road noise and low life on tarmac. This is just a continuance of that.

Well!! Let me give anyone looking into the geolander MT g003 I have run a few different mud terrains along the way as I work in the oil & gas industry in northern Alberta Canada. I always swore by the toyo MT 35” x12.5 x R20. And still do! But I thought I’d try something different. I run a Ford F-350 with a 4.5” SL and I just put on a new set of the Yokohama geolander G003 MT on. They spin true , balance out great , start out relatively the same noise levels as it’s competitors but after about 6000miles,.. literally they turn it up a few more decibels and start to sound like a small plane on the tarmac ... sincerely guys , be prepared that these are not quieter than their competition at all. They are also a little squirrely under the truck I feel as the measure just a little narrower than other 12.50 wide tires. So just a little getting used to that’s all. Great looking tire, slightly lighter in weight than it’s competitors which can be felt in rotational mass. Let’s be real though , noisy and expensive ... when I post a video I’ll come back and shoot the link ok 👌🏻 Thanks everyone .. it’s -35Celcius this upcoming week so not much for Shooting a video lol ... I just rotated once last week at 7500km/4660 miles I’ll update with actual size of the tire mounted on the truck. I’ve run duratracs , TOYO open country mud terrains and BFG all terrains.

Looks a bit like the Toyo Open County MT.

North Idaho guy it does but it’s also a fair amount lighter!
@j3ff3ry186 жыл бұрын
as lilstathaki said, it’s lighter, not by a fair amount but by about 11-13lbs lighter for comparable sized Toyo OpenCountry MT in same size. I run a 37” G003 w/ lite-strong-cheap Level8 Strikes in 17” & the combo is 98lbs per corner. Only my KO2 37s were lighter & they were not even close to as beefy as the Yokohama in this video.

I just bought a set of 35 12.5 16s for my 1 ton crew cab chevy. They are quite a bit lighter then the toyo mt too. So far I havent had a chance to really try them out but I can sure say they did dramatically chance the way my big ol boat drove. Love these tires so far but have only got about 500 mile on them. Time will tell

I put mud-terrains on my non-lifted 2WD truck for the looks.
