Sounds real good. I have The Friedman, Bogner, and Marshall M25 packs from York, love them. But still nothing has beat out the Ownhammer MRCB & MRBW mix pack…for live, home, or in mix it has worked the best.

What are your top 3 favorite IR packs from york audio?
@SethSilvaMusic4 жыл бұрын
York Audio makes my favorite IRs. I’ve purchased every pack and at this point, use them exclusively. Justin has a great ear for IRs, and even though some people may prefer something else, my ears always prefer the tones I get with his stuff. For $15-20, you get a lot usable tones without option paralysis.

I have this pack as well as the Mesa OS V2. I have found the Friedman pack to have some weird high frequencies that don't sound great kind of sound like phasing especially when playing open chords. I don't know, maybe I am dialling things in wrong.

Man!! I’m a 65 yr old retired guy who just plugs his SGs into a Marshall Combo down in my basement and just let her rip. Started to watch this coz I subscribe mainly because I love your 335 but two mins in and I’m completely lost in everything you are saying. I grew up in the days of Sabbath etc who plugged in and recorded LPs in a day. That’s Long Playing records for the not so young🙈Sorry young ones😂. But phew! This is way over my head. God I love the look of that red guitar. Keep the videos coming tho. Big fan.
@PeteThorn4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ashley! It's pretty simple once you understand that an IR is just speaker cabinet and mic simulation. Instead of needing a loud speaker cab, you run your amp into a load box to safely take it's output to line level. You can then run that signal through an impulse response (or IR) that accurately captures what a speaker cabinet with a mic on it sounds like. Really useful for recording, practicing, playing live... just about every playing application. You get all the tone of a great cab and mic setup without the volume. Make sense?
@marygaleac4 жыл бұрын
Pete Thorn Hey Pete! Thanks for the reply👍 Think I need to be 16 again and tech savvy. A mobile phone you say???😂 But seriously keep those vids coming. Big fan from Scotland👍
