YORK YZ Chiller Low Lift Chiller Performance

A recent performance demonstration at the YORK chiller factory in Nantes, France showcased how the YZ chiller can take advantage of low entering condenser water temperatures to reduce energy usage.
The video provides an explanation of the YORK YZ magnetic bearing chiller’s operating envelope. Then a summary is presented of some of the technology choices of the chiller design that allows it to achieve low entering condenser water temperatures. The next part of the video is footage from a real world chiller performance test where entering condenser water temperature went down to 9.6⁰ C.
