Uncovering HIDDEN damage on my CAMPER VAN 😱! LED Lights - Side Step & Suede Lining Upgrades REVEALED

Firstly, I realise that I called the A Pillars thr B Pillars 🤣🤣🤣! once it was in my head, thats all I said... 🤣🤣
This week, I find out what damage the Bonnet Protector has done to my bonnet after 3 years since installing it. Restore some parts and upgrade others... ITS DIY ON THE VAN TIME!! Whoop Whoop!!
*** APOLOGIES - for not filming more of the electrical install, im not that great with electrics so I have to concentrate, adding filming on top would have been too much for my tiny brain to handle***..

Hiya, thats awesome and no worries at all... glad to be of help. The pressure washer was given to us by our in laws and there isn't a brand anywhere on the unit... I think it was a cheapish one though... sorry I don't know...

A Pillars. 😉 A are the ones at the front. B are the next set from the front (the one your seat belt anchor is on), then C, etc.

Hey Colin, as for cab lighting and to save us from the issue you (and we have) had, switched them off. We have not had that issue again since, but saved others, using the very same gadget you got, to prevent hrs waiting, for a 60s job...lights are ace though!!

Cols velvet disco inferno boudoir. No issues with the Crocs - My pair are bright red, a true Boro fan... 😂 I carry a Marshall bluetooth speaker when I am travelling, as its got more umph than the standard VW unit and speakers. Plus i can use it when parked up, and linked to whatever music app you like its a real travelling gem. A few tidy upgrades added there, looking good on the van, and nice to see that plasticoat stuff in real world use.

You’ll get the marks on your bonnet out easily with a dual action machine polisher. I use a Das6 Pro v2, a light compound would sort it. A wee glaze then wax.

Our bonnet protector came with little rubber feet to stop it rubbing on the bonnet did your new one have these

Hi Colin at first I thought you were having Bacon as a reward 😅 I would use Velcro tape on your front mats and on the steps. Better if anything spills and runs under. You can easily remove them but no movement. I also prefer the stretch bibs that cover a little more. Less likely to leave marks. The new headlining is a much better match for your seats and suits the van colour a lot more. Don’t get surface mount tweeters go for in pillar or co-axial on your mid units.

Haha Michelle said that too.... 🤣🤣! We tried velcro previously (could have been cheap stuff though, you know me 🤣) and they kept falling out so I short of screwing them in 🤣 stapling was the next best option :) Stay awesome matey

@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures you can get cheap tapes but look for ones that use 3M adhesive. Same for all adhesive pads and stick on hooks, it’s only the adhesive that matters just look out for the 3M. You can also get high strength double sided adhesive carpet tape which we used on the rugs on a tiled floor, prevents doggy from slipping. Great for keeping mats and trim in place. Also for felt lining door pockets and drawers to stop rattles.

I’m sure it’s not an issue on your van 🤞 but be careful covering the A pillars if you have airbags behind them. Same for the roof liner if you have curtain airbags. Love the video, vast improvement on the 4 way stretch.

Hey, thank you! Re: cameras, you can't go far wrong with Sony, lightweight and super easy to use. Have a look at the Sony A6400 (with the kit lens to start with) and you can literally use it as a point and shoot in auto or if you're feeling brave, try some of the manual functions... try grabbing a used one from MPB Photographic as that'll make it a bit cheaper too ;)
