It never dreamed of being a handheld, and you are all wrong about it and I hate Nintendo fans. Sometimes the majority opinion is actually ignorant, and this is one of those cases. Along with Sonic Adventure being "good", until those people finally grew up and realized that it wasn't. On a side note, it's sad how I'm going to have to wait a decade before people en masse realize that Breath of the Wild was actually largely a mess. Jim Sterling also gave it a 6 out of 10, saying it was a little above average and that he still liked the game, and he got an overwhelming amount of backlash including death threats for it. : /

@@travisretriever7473 The nice thing about Nintendo is that their games that aren't Star Fox tend to iterate on their core design instead of just rehashing it like, say, Ubisoft tends to. If you've played a Yoshi game you'll have a pretty good idea of what the others are like in the series.

Personally, i'd uncouple the bonuses from the costume, so when you find a new costime, it'll unlock the costume and also unlock the stat bonus, so you can choose which costume you want to wear and combine it with any stat bonus you like.
